Job description

What will I be doing?

In this role, you will be supporting us with all or some of the following tasks:

  • Organising a breakfast spread in the living room for the residents once a week. You will need a level 2 food hygiene certificate which St Mungo’s can provide for you.
  •  Be confident at chatting to the women at the service and putting them at ease in a non-judgemental manner. As there will could only be one permanent staff member on shift, we take extra measures to make sure you feel supported. This would involve you taking your own walkie-talkie to take to the living room, and permanent staff regularly coming to the living room to support you throughout the breakfast club.
  •  Adhere to St Mungo’s Policies and Procedures at all times.
  •  Promote St Mungo’s work in an appropriate manner.
  • Actively promote equality, diversity and inclusion among staff, fellow volunteers and clients.
