Our vision is enabling university students to live God-centred lives, so we teach structured, engaging and transformative face-to-face foundational Islamic education to over 1,800 students across the UK.

 

Role Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager to join the Academic Operations team to help define, improve, and execute current processes. The Academic Operations team is responsible for managing the logistics and practicalities of the instructor experience, including instructor recruitment, training and development,, through to quality assurance. The ideal candidate is someone who will use their initiative and drive to solve problems and deliver value across key workstreams.

 

Key tasks

  • Defining current state processes vs to-be (instructor recruitment, quality assurance).

  • Support the documentation of all Academic Operations work to support knowledge management as Roots and the Roots team grows.

  • Supporting the gathering of requirements and vision for the Roots instructor portal.

  • Collaborating with the wider Academic team to delegate / support on work as needed.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in Business Analysis would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.

  • The ability to grasp a piece of work quickly and own delivery.

  • Someone who is equally comfortable in leading a piece of work as they are in getting stuck in and supporting others.
