Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to join us as Volunteering Manager to join our team. This is a vital volunteer leadership role where you'll play a key part in recruiting, onboarding, training, and motivating volunteers to help us drive our mission forward. Your ability to engage and support our team of volunteers will be instrumental in shaping the success of our charity.

Your Role as Volunteering Manager

As our Volunteering Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Volunteer Recruitment: Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract dedicated volunteers for a variety of roles at Remix.

• Induction and Onboarding: Design and lead comprehensive induction programmes to prepare new volunteers for their roles and ensure they feel welcomed and valued.

• Training and Development: Provide ongoing training opportunities for volunteers to enhance their skills and effectiveness in delivering our programmes.

• Volunteer Engagement: Motivate and support volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive culture that celebrates their contributions.

• Performance Monitoring: Track volunteer progress, provide feedback, and recognise their achievements to ensure they feel appreciated.

• Volunteer Retention: Build long-term relationships with volunteers, ensuring they stay engaged and committed to our mission.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in volunteer management, team leadership, or a related role.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire volunteers.

• Strong organisational abilities to manage volunteer recruitment, training, and retention effectively.

• A passion for empowering young people and aligning with our charity’s mission and values.

• The ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment for volunteers.
