We Are Remix is a brand-new start-up youth charity on a mission to develop and uplift young people across London and beyond. At REMIX, we are passionate about making a transformative, positive impact on the lives of young people. Our vision is to empower the next generation to become resilient, motivated, entrepreneurial critical thinkers and self-reliant individuals.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a passionate, visionary, and strategic leader to take on the volunteer position of CEO. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our charity, provide direction, and create meaningful change in the lives of young people. You will bring energy, expertise, and dedication to driving our mission and building a sustainable, impactful organisation.

Your Role as Volunteer CEO

As our CEO, you will be instrumental in laying the foundations of REMIX and leading its development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the charity’s vision, mission, and strategic goals in alignment with our core values - Inspire, Empower, Transform.

• Fundraising and Resource Development: Secure financial resources and partnerships to ensure sustainable operations.

• Team Building: Recruit, support, and inspire a team of dedicated volunteers and staff, fostering a collaborative and empowering culture.

• Programme Development: Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programmes focused on employability, life skills, personal development, and healthy living.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, community organisations, and key stakeholders.

• Governance: Work closely with the board of trustees to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulations.

What You Bring

• Proven leadership experience, ideally within the charity or youth sector.

• A passion for empowering young people and a deep commitment to our mission and values.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and strategic-thinking skills.

• Experience in fundraising, building partnerships, and financial management.

• The ability to inspire and lead teams with empathy, enthusiasm, and vision.

• A growth mindset and willingness to tackle challenges head-on.
