Trustee

Transform Young Lives! We are seeking two Trustees for North London’s largest provider of youth services, located in Burnt Oak, Barnet.

Position: X 2 Trustees – Health & Safety and Marketing & Communications
Location: Barnet, North London
Commitment: Six Board meetings per year, plus relevant committee meetings

We are looking for two dynamic and experienced individuals to take on a Trustee roles covering Health and Safety and Marketing and Communications

Marketing and Communications Trustee:

As an exceptional marketing and communications professional you will be the lead Trustee to help the charity grow brand recognition to encourage young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to access the charity. This role will involve working closely with the Marketing and Communications Team. You will help them to continually improve external collateral, social media and branding

and the internal coherence of our storytelling. You will also ensure that legal (eg GDPR) and

ethical issues concerning marketing to young people are carefully considered.

 

Health and Safety Trustee:

As Health and Safety Trustee you will lead and inspire the charity’s approach to managing the health and safety aspects of the Youth Zone. You will be ensuring North London's largest provider of

youth charitable services is as safe and accessible as possible for thousands of young

people from disadvantaged backgrounds. As the lead Trustee for this area, the role will involve working closely with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic on-site team to ensure that their processes, procedures and controls are appropriate, that the training delivered is effective and that risks are identified and managed to a safe level in accordance with legal responsibilities.
