Magic Changemaker

Join our Magic Changemaker group at Magic Breakfast! 

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We are excited to launch our new Magic Changemakers group made up of driven professionals, in the early to mid-stages of their career, who are passionate about making a difference. Magic Changemakers will bring their diverse skills to help the charity think creatively, solve challenges, and shape its future. Together, they’ll help advance our three core strategic goals: delivering more nutritious breakfasts, pushing for a solution to child morning hunger, and ensuring efficient and responsible operations.  

In addition to this, Magic Changemakers will play a key role in supporting our fundraising efforts. They’ll collaborate with the Partnership Development Team by reviewing our prospect list, facilitating introductions where possible, offering insights to enhance current proposals, and brainstorming new partnership opportunities based on their expertise and networks within the business community.

What are we looking for? 

• Share a passion and commitment to Magic Breakfast’s mission of removing morning hunger as a barrier to learning for children in the UK.  

• A working professional with a strong network within the UK business community.  

• An innovative, solutions-focused thinker who brings fresh ideas.  

• Collaborative and able to thrive in a team environment.  

• At an early to mid-career level.  

• London-based or able to travel to London quarterly for meetings.  

• Willing to commit up to 5 hours per quarter to Magic Changemakers (approx. 2 hours for meetings, and 3 hours for meeting preparation and ad-hoc communication with Magic Breakfast representatives.)  

• 12-month minimum term with a 1-month notice period.

What will happen after my application? 

Applications for the Magic Changemakers group will close on January 19th 2025.  

Shortly after, Magic Breakfast will contact you by January 31st 2025 to confirm whether your application has been successful. If selected, you’ll receive a short agreement to sign, formalising your inclusion in the group.   

In February, we’ll arrange an introductory call to give you the opportunity to connect with fellow members and begin your journey with the group.
