Job description

 The Director of Communications will lead the charity’s communication strategy, ensuring our message reaches key audiences, strengthens our brand, and supports fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy to raise awareness of Light Up Children’s work.

  • Manage social media, website content, and email campaigns.

  • Oversee press outreach, public relations, and storytelling efforts.

  • Support fundraising and donor engagement through compelling content.

  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and external communications.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in communications, PR, or marketing.

  • Strong writing, editing, and digital content creation skills.

  • Passion for storytelling and amplifying the voices of those we support.
