Job description
Are you a people person who likes helping people deal with problems and connect with others? KeyRing are looking for Hub Volunteers in Warrington.
The Hub is a drop-in where people can get some support, socialise and make plans. The Hub runs every Tuesday from 12pm -3pm.
We are looking for volunteers who:
- People who can provide support with phone calls, looking at mail and updating
file notes - Can offer support in a flexible and creative way
- Can support Members at a local community hub
How KeyRing will support you:
- You will have a Manager who will see you regularly to discuss your volunteering role, and who is available by phone during office hours
- We encourage volunteers to link up with other volunteers, which is a great way to share experience and gain support from people who are having similar experiences to you
- We provide an induction to your role and the activities you will be involved in
- Optional training to develop your skills in social care
- We reimburse any expenses you incur whilst you are volunteering, including a DBS check
- We have a 24-hour helpline available
