Job description

Do you have a passion for cooking and enjoy spending time in the kitchen? We are looking for volunteers to support our services to prepare food for our accommodation based, day centres and drop-in centres across London and southeast.
 

What you will be doing
Support the cook to manage budgets and purchase ingredients alongside the people who use our services
Support the cook in the kitchen with food and meal preparation
Support the cook with maintaining hygiene food standard levels in the kitchen
The skills you need
Willingness to complete Food Safety Training
Knowledge regarding cooking, food hygiene and allergies Ability to provide a supportive, and inclusive atmosphere Calm and patient approach
