HELPING CHILDREN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in need. We are expanding our reach and impact by establishing operations in the UK. We are seeking a dedicated Country Director (Volunteer) to lead and coordinate our activities in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the opening of a UK-based bank account for the organization.
- Identify and secure a suitable location for the establishment of a UK office.
- Serve as the primary representative of HELPING CHILDREN in the UK.
- Collaborate with the team in Sri Lanka to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, partners, and potential supporters in the UK.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks, including banking and office setup.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children and supporting a nonprofit mission.
- Knowledge of UK regulations related to nonprofits is an advantage.
