What we are Looking For

We're thrilled to share that Fair Game has experienced incredible growth recently, and we're on the brink of making a significant impact. As a volunteer-driven initiative, we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual eager to contribute to build our network and reach among clubs, individuals and organisations that share our vision.

This volunteer position is a fantastic chance for someone keen on gaining insights into the football industry and expanding their connections, setting the stage for a promising career in sports management or governance. Main Responsibilities

(Don’t worry, you won’t be doing all of these on your own)

As a Fair Game Chief Engagement Officer here are some of the tasks that you may undertake:

 

  • Deliver the engagement strand of Fair Game’s three-year strategy, including implementing our new account management and new business approach

  • Analyse our existing engagement structures

  • Strengthen our existing advocacy, club engagement, stakeholder engagement and ambassador engagement teams

  • Set targets and line manage the heads of each of the teams

  • Talk directly to key stakeholders when necessary

  • Run weekly engagement team directorate meetings

  • Attend fortnightly management meetings (1hr)

  • Attend quarterly board meetings (1hr)

 

What you will Need to Bring

  • A passion for football

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Brilliant project management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience of networking and outreach

  • Experience of account management

  • A commitment to Fair Game’s values

  • A desire to see a fairer future for football
