Cyclox is the voice of cycling in Oxford. We support more people to cycle in Oxford, more often and more safely.

This is how we work towards our mission:

●     Advocate: We lobby key decision makers such as the City and County Councils and the two universities to raise awareness of cycling and to call for better cycling provision.

●     Collaborate: We work with local active travel groups, the universities and other partners.

●     Engage: We listen to and learn from our members and communities.

About the role

Following the retirement of our long-standing Chair of Trustees, we are now seeking a new Chair to drive forward our Vision Zero strategy. We are seeking an Oxford-based leader with experience of the non-profit sector who shares our passion and has a proven track record of inspiring positive change.  This person must know Oxford'scycling infrastructure and issues well  and be familiar with charity governance requirements.  They must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders with the ability to be assertive and persuasive.  If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
