Children with Voices is looking for a Volunteer Sports Coach! In this role, you'll support the physical and emotional well-being of young people by promoting active lifestyles and teamwork. Your duties will include:
- Planning and leading sports activities and training sessions.
- Encouraging participation and fostering a love for sports among children and young people.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.
- Communicating with volunteers, parents, and stakeholders to coordinate schedules and responsibilities.
- Providing mentorship and support to young athletes, helping them develop skills and confidence.
- Assisting with the recruitment and training of volunteer assistants as needed.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure programs are delivered effectively and meet the needs of the community.
While previous coaching experience would be helpful, it's not essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm, strong organisational skills, and commitment to our mission of empowering young people through sports and physical activity.
