Job description

Inviting performers and/or groups (not more than 4 members) to volunteer at the Big Syn Int. Film Festival and Awards 2024- the World's Biggest Sustainability Film Festival and Awards, London.

Applications from performers such as spoken word artists, singers, musicians (no big instruments please), drag artists and stand up comedians would be ideal.

Performers of all ability, gender, sexuality and ethnicity, are invited to apply.

Date/Time: 8th NOV, Curzon Soho London (4-6pm).

Performance time: 5mins

The role will provide you the opportunity to:

  • Opportunity to attend and contribute to the world's biggest sustainability black-tie red carpet event.
  • Opportunity to network, connect and collaborate with leading brands, C-suite professionals, celebrated OSCAR & BAFTA winning filmmakers, media personalities and more.
  • Opportunity to show your support and standing for the world's biggest sustainability event that reaches millions.

What are we looking for?

We welcome performers and groups from all genders, sexuality, ability and ethnicity.

  • Aligning with the mission and values of the festival and deliver in line with the goals of the event.
  • Proven expertise of performing at large events and awards.
  • Flexible, accomodating and approachable.

What difference will you make?

At least 85% of people who first came to learn about the UN SDGs via the film festival were not aware of those at all, until now! This can give you an idea of the need for this initiative to educate the common man about the UN SDGs, its significance and the importance of inspiring them to act on the UN SDGs.

Your initiatives will ensure that the film festival gets even more notoriety and visibility, thus improving its ability to educate more people about the UN SDGs, boost the festival's public profile, increase the festival's participation, and enhance the support from individuals and organisations.
