Job description

Are you looking for a meaningful way to use your skills while making a real impact? Join us as a Supporter Care Volunteer and help us recognise the generosity of our amazing supporters. Your role will be key in ensuring our donors and fundraisers feel valued, helping Candlelighters continue providing vital support to families affected by childhood cancer.

Location: Candlelighters, Woodhouse Square, Leeds, LS3 1AD
Hours: Minimum one day per week

What You'll Do

  • Write thank you letters, emails, and send certificates to our supporters.
  • Respond to enquiries and provide exceptional supporter care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, event preparation, and database updates.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and process mailings.
  • Support the Fundraising and Finance Teams with various activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong administrative and IT skills (Microsoft Office, databases).
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in person.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for making a difference.
