What will you be doing?

About Bright Futures UK: Bright Futures UK supports young people who have had to take time out from education due to chronic illness. Our programmes aim to stimulate learning and provide social engagement, helping to alleviate the isolation these young individuals often face.

Role Description: We are seeking a dedicated volunteer with an education background to help develop a comprehensive resource collection for our tutors. This behind-the-scenes role involves creating and curating educational materials and activities that our tutors can use to support young people in their learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and curate educational resources tailored to the needs of young people with long-term illnesses
  • Create engaging activities and materials to support various subjects and learning levels
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure resources are relevant and effective
  • Continuously update and expand the resource collection based on feedback from tutors and students
