Role Overview
As a Senior Recruiter Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and recruiting talented individuals to join our organisation. Your expertise in recruitment strategies and candidate evaluation will contribute to building a skilled and diverse team that aligns with our mission and values.
Commitment
- This role is currently volunteer-based.
- We are seeking a commitment of 4-6 hours per week.
- We are looking for somebody to come on long-term, but are open to shorter-term applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and professional organizations to identify potential candidates.
- Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for open positions.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules and logistics between candidates and hiring managers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for newly hired candidates, including coordinating orientation sessions, collecting required information, and assisting with integration into the organization.
Desired Skills
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, preferably in a startup or in a non-profit environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proactive initiative in a remote work environment.
