Our bank-checking tool has already influenced over £26 million towards greener banking, empowering customers worldwide to make sustainable choices. Now, we're launching the Bank.Green Accreditation Program to certify businesses banking with green banks, fostering a broader shift towards environmental responsibility. This initiative represents a pivotal step in redefining the role of banks in combating climate change.
Role Overview
The Bank.Green Business Accreditation Program is seeking a dynamic and driven volunteer to join a team that will launch and scale our new accreditation initiative. As a Program Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable banking practices by engaging businesses and showcasing their commitment to green banking. This role involves contributing with other volunteers, managing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the program's success and expansion.
Commitment
This volunteer position requires a commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per week. All of the work can be conducted remotely. We are looking for somebody to come on long-term, but are open to shorter-term applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and scaling of the Bank.Green Business Accreditation Program.
- Coordinate with green banks, businesses, and stakeholders to maximise program reach and impact.
- Collaborate with UK-based volunteers in marketing, partner outreach, and data management.
- Establish and oversee tracking of key performance indicators to evaluate program success and adapt strategies as necessary.
- Work with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials highlighting the benefits and objectives of the accreditation.
