Join our board of trustees and help transform young lives

ASDAN is a UK-based charity committed to unlocking the talents and abilities of learners with diverse needs. Our mission is to engage them in meaningful learning, empowering them to pursue further education, training, and work, ultimately enabling them to take control of their lives and thrive.

With a longstanding history of working alongside mainstream and special schools, further education colleges, alternative learning environments, local authorities and community organisations across the UK and globally, we specialise in developing personal, social and employability skills. We offer accredited qualifications and curriculum programmes, with a deep commitment to quality and equality of opportunity for young people at Entry levels 1 to 3 and Levels 1 to 3.

We are looking for passionate, experienced individuals to join our board of trustees, bringing their expertise to help ASDAN achieve its future goals.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Digital learning and infrastructure
• Supporting young people in non-school educational settings
• Marketing
• Charitable fundraising and grant giving

Trustee role and responsibilities

As a trustee, you will play a vital role in governing ASDAN and shaping its strategic direction. We value diverse perspectives and are committed to ensuring our board reflects the communities we serve. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing strategic oversight and contributing to board meetings and subcommittees
• Offering your expertise to support ASDAN’s long-term ambitions
• Upholding our commitment to quality education and equality of opportunity for all young people
