About Together Now:
At Together Now, we believe every family deserves to live together. Our mission is to reunite refugee families who have been separated due to conflict, persecution, or other hardships. We rely on public donations and volunteer support to provide vital services, including covering travel and documentation costs that make family reunions possible.
Purpose of the Role:
To support our ongoing projects, we are seeking an IT Support Volunteer with experience in Airtable or similar platforms to help us build and maintain bespoke applications, manage user accounts, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee data management systems. Our specialist counselling transforms the mental health and wellbeing of women who have suffered physical, emotional or sexual abuse, financial exploitation or coercive control, and we have assisted well over 15,000 people to date. Trustees, as Company Directors and members of the Board, form the ultimate decision-making body for Woman’s Trust. Trustee/Directors are required to make a commitment to join the board for an initial minimum term of 3 years and serve as an active, supportive, well-informed Board member.
You will be required to attend various Trustee meetings including:
- In person full Board meetings every 2 to 3 months (at least 5 in total per year, for 2 hours),
- At least one Sub Committee meeting every 2 months (6 in total per year, for 1 hour remotely)
- The annual Board Strategy Day (an in person full day on Saturday)
We offer Trustees the opportunity to gain skills and experience, where appropriate, in areas such as fundraising, strategic planning, project management, policy development, and communications. Trustees will also have access to Woman’s Trust existing training programme on domestic abuse issues. The programme includes sessions such as the effects of domestic abuse, domestic abuse and the law, and good practice guidelines for those working with women affected by domestic abuse. Training in this area is not widely available so this is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills.

Dogs For Good holds a variety of events and meetings for volunteers each year, and we encourage Trustees to attend one or two of these, where possible.
Trustees serve a fixed term of three years from the date of their appointment and, if qualified, are eligible for reappointment for a further two terms. While this is an unpaid voluntary role, reasonable expenses will be paid.

Caring Volunteers Needed: Are you concerned about our world’s future? As an online “ At Home” Volunteer, you will be working with people from a wide variety of countries and cultures, all believing in passing on the right to basic education, the importance of cultural exchange, and giving voice to the voiceless.
The Position: We ask Volunteers to contribute a minimum of one hour a month. Within our Human Resource Division you will be learning to process applicants from around the world, assigning them to appropriate Teams and coordinating the Team Leads training sessions and monthly meetings. While English is required, you will learn to be comfortable with various global accents as well as proficient in your Interviewing skills and background research. You will practice team organizing & management skills. Depending on which teams you join, you will learn non profit contracts, global time zone coordination and other very basic, practical skills when working with people Internationally and online.
