Who we are

We are keen to buy land in Wales for rewilding - to create the largest rewilding project in Wales. 

Our vision is a Cymru where wild nature and communities thrive; where the totality of ecosystems and their function is restored. We want to see areas where nature is in charge, able to determine its own course and expand. 

For the benefit of the public, we will advance the improvement and conservation of the physical and natural environment in Wales by buying/leasing land and restoring the natural processes that create resilient ecosystems. In doing so we will reverse declines in biodiversity and bio abundance in Wales.

We will advance the education and the engagement of the public in the principles of ecosystem restoration, through the promotion of these principles, and the networking of projects in Wales that follow them.

Ambitious – We want to help turn the tide on the loss of nature in Wales and become an organisation that sets itself apart from the rest in its scale of ambition. 

Respectful and Inclusive - Land use is a sensitive topic that touches on difficult issues. We will always behave with respect and sensitivity towards all stakeholders. 

Collaborative - We are outward-looking, working with communities, other NGOs, universities, schools, local nature partnerships and others to achieve shared goals.

Open – We will be open with each other and transparent with our audience. We will work with integrity and stay true to our charitable goals.
