Job description

We are looking for new Governors to join our dynamic and engaged Board of Governors at WQE & Regent College Group, based in Leicester due to long standing Governors completing their terms of office.

Can you volunteer 3-4 hours a month and lend us your expertise? If you have held advisory or senior managerial positions within the financial sector, and have accountancy or financial qualifications, then we would love to hear from you.Our colleagues and learners come from a broad and diverse demographic and we strive to mirror this in our Board of Governors.

Our Governors meet 4 times a year for Board meetings, as well as attending an informal kickstart meeting at the start of every academic year and a strategic Governor Conference. Board members also serve on one of our committees, such as the Finanace & Resources Committee or the Audit & Risk Committee.

An induction and on going learnign and development opportunities are on offer for all of our Governors.

Our board is welcoming and inclusive and strategic in focus, providing a key critical friend role to the College leadership team, holding them to account.
