The service you will work in enables NHS Talking Therapies (TT) services in Hounslow to offer a personalised package of psychological therapy and employment support to all TT clients who want to find, sustain, get back to, or positively leave, work. As an Employment Advisor at Twining Enterprise, you will play a crucial role in our employment support services. - To prepare participants for employment through assessing their individual employment needs through vocational profiling and then actively support them to achieve their employment goals in partnership with the clinical team.

- To provide advice and support to employers, as agreed with the individual, which may include negotiating adjustments and ongoing contact with supervisors to ensure job retention.
- To assess individual support needs related to work which might typically include help with benefits, travel to work, managing health at work etc.
- To provide effective in work support to individuals once they secure paid employment to ensure they retain it.
- To deliver employment workshops with other members of staff as required.
- To develop effective working relationships with a range of external agencies who might be better able to help individuals to achieve their employment goals for example, local colleges, training providers and external supported employment services.

We are looking for two Senior Finance Business Partners to join our Finance and Commercial team on a full time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Taking a lead role to ensure that new projects are subject to effective financial planning and commercial control, influence budget holders and provide technical and strategic insight in order to achieve the Directorates’ overall objectives

Main tasks and responsibilities
Young people's services
Delivering a resettlement service to young people with multiple needs. This will include:
- Working to ensure young people receive a high-quality service from the point of registration to the move-on. Taking a hands-on approach to dealing with complex or difficult cases and ensuring the quality of support plans to create opportunities to promote independence.
- Managing a caseload of internally referred clients with additional needs as they transition out of homelessness, ensuring that the necessary support structures are in place to facilitate successful tenancy sustainment.
- Carrying out thorough needs assessments and putting in place support plans with young people accessing the resettlement programme.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on Accommodation, Welfare Benefits, Housing Benefit and Tenancy rights, Legal Services, and Employment, Education & Training. Monitoring and evaluating young people’s progress.
- Building and maintaining effective partnerships with accommodation providers and external stakeholders, in addition to cultivating and strengthening existing relationships.
- Referring young people to other internal New Horizon Youth Centre teams in order to support their progression, including Health and Jobs, Education and Training.
- Providing advocacy and referring young people to a wide range of specialist external services including around advocacy, substance misuse, mental health, immigration, counselling, financial/debt advice, and legal services.
- Attending regular briefings, team meetings, reflective practice and clinical supervision, both with NHYC and project partners. Ensuring that Health and Safety or safeguarding issues are addressed at all times.
Sharing best practice -
To proactively share best practice with internal and external stakeholders in order to maximise the impact of the work of NHYC. This will include:
- Identifying and acting to maximise NHYC’s profile by seeking out and responding to opportunities with specialists and agencies who might offer resources, funding, or individual services relevant to client needs.
- Promoting and representing NHYC at relevant forums, meetings and events.

Information management
To produce and maintain accurate and useful information in a range of formats in order to promote effective service delivery and evaluation. This will include:
- Recording all contacts with clients appropriately and maintaining all relevant files and recording systems.
- Producing written reports in a variety of formats to meet the requirements of NHYC, external service providers and funders, e.g., project reviews and assessment reports.
- Inputting and extracting information from client monitoring systems and other accounting and database systems. Utilising other relevant software for the production of reports.
- Being self-servicing in day-to-day administration, and following team and NHYC’s administrative procedures.

The Investment Director will lead the Growth Impact Fund which has been designed to address structural barriers facing entrepreneurs from underrepresented back grounds. You will be working closely with Joint Venture Partner – UnLtd. in managing the existing portfolio of diverse social enterprise clients on behalf of the fund.
You will have an understanding of investment from origin, investment and portfolio management to potential exits and a considerable understanding of the financial needs of social enterprises.

You will be working within our Housing team to deliver an effective advice service for young people. You should be experienced in delivering housing advice within a youth and community or other relevant setting, of supporting clients with multiple and complex needs, and have a proven track record of referring and progressing vulnerable people into suitable accommodation. - Referring young people to other internal New Horizon Youth Centre teams in order to support their progression, including Health, Youth Work, Outreach and Jobs, Education and Training.
- Providing advocacy and referring young people to a wide range of specialist external advice services including around advocacy, substance misuse, mental health, immigration, counselling, financial/debt advice, and legal services.
- Attending regular briefings, team meetings, reflective practice and clinical supervision, both with NHYC and project partners. Ensuring that Health and Safety or safeguarding issues are addressed at all times.
Sharing best practice
To proactively share best practice with internal and external stakeholders in order to maximise the impact of the work of NHYC. This will include:
- Identifying and acting to maximise NHYC’s profile by seeking out and responding to opportunities with specialists and agencies who might offer resources, funding, or individual services relevant to client needs.
- Promoting and representing NHYC at relevant forums, meetings and events.
Information management
To produce and maintain accurate and useful information in a range of formats in order to promote effective service delivery and evaluation. This will include:
- Recording all contacts with clients appropriately and maintaining all relevant files and recording systems.
- Producing written reports in a variety of formats to meet the requirements of NHYC, external service providers and funders, e.g., project reviews and assessment reports.

About the role
Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South East region, which includes: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Guernsey, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex.
There will be occasional travel around the South East Region and you may be required to travel at short notice for face to face meetings.
About the team
The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the ten SSAFA branches in the South East, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The wider support team includes a Casework Manager and a Regional Operations Support Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the South East Region would be valuable.

As the research lead you will be conducting exciting and innovative research projects and embedding a research culture across our organisation. You will be involved in campaigning for change and thought leadership activities within the borough and beyond.
The Research Coordinator will take forward some of our strategic goals around evidencing the causes of Foodbank use, participation work with those using Foodbank services and influencing work and practice across our Foodbank.
This role will be responsible for conducting primary research covering a range of areas to better understand the lived experience of people experiencing and at risk of food poverty, the causes of food poverty and solutions to ending food poverty and hunger. You will benefit from the established support network of other Trussell Trust Foodbanks conducting similar research programmes. - Partnerships and Engagement: Establish and nurture partnerships, collaborating with relevant organisations to share best practices, enhance research outcomes, and contribute to the broader community.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and presenting both quantitative and qualitative research projects.
- In-depth understanding of the voluntary sector and practical experience working with disadvantaged, marginalised, or socially excluded groups.
- Track record of successfully devising and delivering projects aligned with strategic goals, with the ability to thrive in an independent and collaborative environment.
