Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for a Service Desk Team Leader to join our customer-centric team.

This is an exciting time for the Service Desk as it is working to deliver a service improvement roadmap aligned to the Service Desk Institute's global best practice standards.

You will lead a team of Service Desk Analysts, with responsibility for tasks related to operational performance and people management. You'll work with the Senior Service Desk Analyst to develop and grow the team's technical skills.

The team will provide first touch support for all of Age UK's technical Infrastructure - including desktop, software and mobile device management and Telephony (includes Incidents, Requests and Changes). You'll work on operational and administrative activities associated with the Service Desk - including reports, account management, moves, adds, deletes and changes.

You'll act as the point of escalation for Analyst queries and technical advice and will participate in CAB meetings as part of our Change Management Process as well as being part of the Major Incident Management Team during major incidents.

Passionate about providing a brilliant Customer Experience, you'll be proactive in monitoring call volumes, queues and data on a daily basis to help to ensure optimal ticket levels and responsible for ticket logging and allocation within the ITSM tool, setting an example on ticket management.

Data-driven, you'll carry out Service Desk reporting and trend analysis activities and play a key role in managing the Asset database and management process.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Team Leader to use your innovation to add to a Knowledgebase to help ensure team resiliency wherever possible.

This fulfilling role is offered on a hybrid contract with circa 4 days a week being worked on site at our London office (EC3N 2LB). There will be a requirement to cover the Service Desk between the opening hours of 8am-7pm as agreed on a rota-basis.

Must haves:

* Significant experience of operational management of a medium sized remote team on a busy Service Desk.
* Significant people management experience.
* Significant experience of working with and managing Incident Management and Request Fulfilment processes.
* Significant experience of working with an ITSM platform.
* Significant experience of working with a Telephony platform.
* Good understanding of effective Office 365 administration support.

* Good understanding of Intune support.
* Passionate about providing a brilliant User Experience.
* Experience of working in an ITIL environment with a demonstrable knowledge of how ITSM processes are utilised to deliver an outstanding service.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Information

This role is hybrid between home-based and your designated office(s) with up to 4 days a week on-site plus ad-hoc as requested by the IT Service Delivery Management team. You'll be expected to share management cover of the Service Desk 8-7 core hours rota with the Service Desk leadership team. Occasional travel to other Age UK sites to enable performance of the duties and responsibilities and for the purposes of maintaining and updating professional skills and development.

This is an exciting role in our Immigration Team that will work closely with the team to ensure that the centre is able to provide confidential OISC Level 2 and 3 advice and representation, whilst providing support and training to colleagues working at Level 1.  The role is pivotal in providing highly skilled legal advice and representation to vulnerable clients across London at no cost to the individual. This is particularly important at a time where free or low-cost advice is becoming harder to find.

If you have the IAAS senior caseworker accreditation, you will be the key advisor with regards to Legal Aid work, including prioritising Legal Aid cases and ensuring that Legal Aid is used whenever appropriate throughout the team.

You will work hard to increase engagement and collaboration, reduce incidents and Anti-Social Behavior (ASB) which will ultimately benefit clients and the local community.

This role is Monday – Friday 9am-5pm.

We are looking for someone with experience of working with people who have experienced homelessness and/or social exclusion, you will also have some experience of developing strategic partnerships and productive working relationships with a range of external and internal partners and stakeholders.

You’re excellent communication skills and ability to work with others whilst managing your own time, are as important as your ability to provide training to empower staff and volunteers to make positive changes to working practices to support St Mungo’s clients and the community. You will also have a good working knowledge of a range if IT applications.

About Young Sounds UK

Young Sounds exists because musical talent is everywhere but opportunity isn’t: family finances and other obstacles too often get in the way. We’re here to change this in two key ways:

• We support young musicians from low-income families with funding and other help;

• We support music education through training, advocacy and research.

We became an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation in April 2023 and also joined an expanded cohort of National Youth Music Organisations (NYMOs). We currently support around 900 individual young people across the UK every year and demand for our support is increasing. The role

The Data Officer will fulfil an important cross-organisational role, working closely with the team to collate and analyse the data collected through all our programmes. Young Sounds is a reflective organisation. We’ve always invested time and effort in seeking out, understanding and demonstrating the difference our programmes are making. We believe in learning from experience. This is what we mean by evaluation.

Since 2023 we have committed to evaluating all three of our main programmes, each of which tackles a key barrier to young people’s musical progression. Each quarter we review our progress against both our Arts Council England Activity Plan (where measures of success are agreed annually) and the actions we’ve set for each year against each of Arts Council England’s four Investment Principles. We believe that data plays an integral part in telling the story of our work, and we regularly draw upon the information collated through evaluation to update our wider funding base (e.g. Trusts and Foundations) on the work we are doing. The Data Officer will work with the External Evaluator to enable us to report effectively and accurately on our progress to all our funders.

We work within a coordinated partnership response to violence against women and girls as part of the Angelou Partnership. Within the partnership ADVANCE provides independent domestic abuse advocacy and support for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

The IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process specialising in working with clients at high risk. They will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 13, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. They will advise women on criminal justice and civil remedies and related matters, support women to attend court where necessary, and coordinate the provision of multi-agency support. Part of the role will to be to establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with services providing services to clients and partner agencies within the Angelou Partnership. As a Core IDVA will work across the boroughs mentioned above, under the guidance of the team leaders and project manager.

To be successful as the Core IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:

To be successful as a Core IDVA, you’ll need to have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved in mental health services, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

We recognise that women often only apply to roles if they meet 100% of the criteria. This role will be to support the perpetrator intervention across Wiltshire.

You will be primarily based in Wiltshire supporting the Domestic Abuse Serial Perpetrator (DASP) project, providing bespoke specialist support to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The post holder will work as part of the IOM team within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure that clients who show abusive behaviour are supported through every stage of the process of change. Evening appointments are necessary for this post in Salisbury and Chippenham.

In addition, you will support the delivery of the CPR (Choosing Positive Relationships) Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP), which is an intensive behaviour change programme, designed to increase knowledge and understanding around domestic abuse, the impact on children and healthy relationships. The course teaches tools and strategies to help someone change their behaviour. The CPR group will require weekly evening work in Wiltshire.

The post-holder will be expected to work to Respect standards.

Full training will be available for this role. 

Client Based Duties

• Identify and assess the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
• Develop personalised risk assessments and safety plans for each service user.
• Advocate for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviour and show motivation for change with agencies who can help to address the domestic abuse by:
  • Understanding the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to those who are abusive and how your role fits into them.
  • Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to individuals, including in relation to drug and alcohol, housing, health and finance.
  • Working directly with all key agency partners to address the impact of the abusive behaviour on the safety of high risk victims and ensuring that their safety plans are coordinated.
• Support the client to recognise the abusive behaviour and the effect that it has on their families and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation and help them change unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
• Understand multi-agency partnership structures and work within a multi-agency setting which may include participation at the MAPPA/MARAC.  You will contribute interventions and help design a plan to protect victims and any children, while maintaining an independent role on behalf of your client, keeping the victim and any children’s safety as central to any response. 
• Ensure support provided is accessible to clients in terms of location and times.
• Be proactive with your line manager in carrying out regular case reviews based on a review of risk and abuse which:
  • Feeds back into action planning to further progress, signpost or close cases and;
  • Provides feedback to your clients/agencies.
• Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services works in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.  
• Remain up-to-date and compliant with all organisational procedures policies and professional codes of conduct and uphold standards of best practice.
• Utilizs evaluation and monitoring systems to ensure high standards of service are consistently achieved e.g. Orchards Database.
• Deliver high-quality group work, working in co-operation with your co-facilitator and following a clear manual.
• Have an appropriate attention to data, providing feedback to CPR , your line manager, FearFree and commissioners.
• Work at all times to Respect standards.
• Work closely with other FearFree staff to ensure appropriate support and attention is given to the victim’s needs and those of any children involved.
• Respond proactively to safeguarding concerns, working in partnership with Children’s and Adult’s Social Care.

Working with other agencies

• Work alongside other project partners to ensure that all elements of the project are incorporated into working practices.
• Work in a multi-agency framework to support perpetrators to change their behaviour and help victims and families access relevant support.
• Participate and prepare reports
• Prepare reports for FearFree management as requested.
• Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work.
• Support colleagues and partner agencies, through awareness raising and institutional advocacy, in order to provide the best possible service for those who are abusive within a family setting.

General

About the role

The Administrative Assistant (Advice and Information) provides important administrative support to our small, friendly Advice and Information Team, which includes:

CoramBAAF members’ Advice Line which covers all aspect of adoption, fostering, kinship and related areas. It is busy and popular with professionals, primarily social workers, who use the service. It offers telephone and email advice, prioritising speed and quality of service.

The Outbound Permanence service. This provides specialist advice by email, supported by legal research, country-specific written guidance and individual consultations where required, to local authorities making arrangements for children to live with relatives and friends overseas. The service also delivers regular training and events.

The Information Service, which supports the advice line and CoramBAAF members with up-to-date information, research, resources and statistics. Their role also includes managing CoramBAAF’s specialist library, the largest collection of adoption and fostering related resources in the UK, and producing the CoramBAAF Digest, a unique monthly current awareness briefing for everyone working in adoption, fostering, kinship and child welfare covering latest developments in legislation, parliamentary activity, policy, consultations, research, statistics and online resources throughout the UK. The Information Service is also an invaluable internal resource, assisting with survey design and data governance, and helping our consultants, trainers and authors to ensure that they have the latest and most accurate information for practice forum meetings, the guides we publish and the training we offer.

The role will primarily support the Outbound Permanence and Advice services. The role is an opportunity for someone with experience and business support/administrative skills, good attention to detail, customer service focus and a flexible approach.

Working hours can be discussed, but to include Thurs/Fri (Friday am specifically).

Fixed term for six months, with possibility of extension.

Rainbow Migration, the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system, is recruiting a Casework Coordinator to deliver support services to people seeking asylum on the basis of their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or sex characteristics.

Rainbow Migration has been supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and campaigning for their rights since 1993. We now have an opportunity for a Casework Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in helping women seeking asylum on the basis of their sexual orientation improve their ability and resilience to cope with the challenges they face and build support networks.

This role will receive full training and support as required to deliver your responsibilities, including:

· Facilitating regular support group meetings of women who are seeking asylum on the basis of their sexual orientation

· Providing one-to-one emotional and practical support primarily to LBTQI+ women who are seeking asylum

· Assisting service users to access health services and accommodation

· Ensuring service users access quality legal representation

· Sharing your knowledge and experience by providing advice, guidance and training to other organisations working with LGBTQI+ people who are seeking asylum

This position requires that you are a lesbian or bisexual cisgender or trans woman and are comfortable discussing and disclosing your sexual orientation in a professional context with service users. Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week). Working part-time (minimum 21 hours a week) or job-sharing will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £30,236 FTE with potential annual step increases up to £33,899 (pro rata if working part-time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, the trustees consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. About the role:

We are looking for a Head of Finance to join us at a very exciting time for the Hospice. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will have responsibility for the smooth running of the finance function, supported by an experienced Finance Manager.

With a new Chief Executive and Chair of Trustees in 2024, we are looking at how we can reach our vision of bringing hospice care to more people by 2030. To do this we need to be as efficient and effective as we can and make sure that our managers and senior leaders have the financial information they need to inform decision-making and drive success.

In addition to this, as part of the drive for efficiency, we need to replace our ageing finance system and introduce new processes to streamline information flows by integrating with other key systems across the business. This new role will lead that project and ensure its successful implementation.
