JOB DESCRIPTION
The post holder will support and work directly with the CEO and provide some assistance to the Senior Management Team (SLT) and the Board of Trustees to support the delivery of the Charity's non clinical governance arrangements. The role will have a key focus on forward planning and streamlining ways of working whilst ensuring essential compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

An organised self-starter who can provide a full on Executive Assistant service, with the ability to multi task, delegate and plan their time management. A methodical approach to diary management is a must and the successful applicant will have a proven track record within this area, along with detailed minute taking and providing excellent administrative support at senior levels.

About the Role
The Street Engagement Team is a multi-disciplinary team that provides person-led support to people experiencing street homelessness and interconnecting needs.
A day in this role is never the same – part of it will be spent on the street, offering support to people experiencing homelessness. You might be out with another member of the team, or with one of our specialist health partners like a homeless health nurse, or substance use worker.
You will also be supporting the Enhanced Practitioners with their caseloads day-to-day, responding to ad-hoc outreach referrals, and contributing to the overall running of the team in a duty capacity.
You will have experience in delivering a person-led, psychologically, gender and culturally informed service to people who are street homeless. You will be excellent at building and strengthening trust in relationships. You will be a problem solver, with a positive attitude towards change and service development.
You will also have the personal credibility to build confidence in the wider community and across partnerships. You will be both strength-based and solution-focused, developing and enhancing the relationships with a commitment to embed coproduction into The Connections services.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison-based. As Trusts & Grants Coordinator, you will produce inspiring funding applications and reports, and develop relationships with new and existing funders. As well as building on our pipeline of grant making trusts, you will also support the development of income from statutory bodies such as local authorities.

Derby Family Drug and Alcohol Safeguarding Service specializes in working with parents, families, and young people across a range of home and community settings supporting parents to build insight into the impact of parental substance misuse whilst developing safety and risk management strategies to minimize risk to the wider family. The support package includes person-centered 1:1 intervention as well as peer groups, YP activities, and educational parenting courses.

Learning Disability Community Caseworker
Do you have experience in giving money or energy advice? Are you organised and can manage a varied workload? Yes, we may have the role for you.
Mencap's advice service are looking for a Learning Disability Community Caseworker that specialises in delivering energy and money advice using video calling, telephone and email advice and face to face in the community.
This is a fixed term contract until March 2026, working 30 hours per week. We are flexible to where you do your work, but there will be an expectation of travel to our Peterborough office or community venues when needed.
Working with three other Energy and Money Advice Caseworkers - you will:
· Offer clear accessible advice to people with a Learning Disability, their families and carers.
· Manage a caseload of your own clients.
· Create, book and deliver workshops, events and webinars on Money and Energy Advice.
· Identify and undertake safeguarding alerts, following up on these and challenging them if necessary.
· Ensure that the caseworkers are at the right locations, with the right stock and equipment ensuring cost-efficient travel and venue planning/booking and excellent time management.
· Working with Subject Matter Experts in other nominated advice areas, to refer cases in and out of other parts of the team when the clients need more than Money and Energy Advice.
· Communicate effectively and accessibly, with empathy and clarity.
· Assist with the monitoring and evaluation of the project, capturing K.P.I's and flagging any slippage.

The Student Advisor is responsible for delivering high quality and empowering one-to-one advice and support to our student members. The focus of the role is to ensure that students can access the Kings College London (and linked institutions) regulations and procedures, equipping them with the information, tools and support they need to take the decisions that are right for them in their circumstances.
The Student Advisor will do this by:
- Delivering specialist advice through a range of channels
- Managing a caseload and keeping accurate case records
- Representing individual students at formal and informal University meetings
- Identifying policy issues/trends and communicating these to the Advice management team.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of KCLSU Advice and Wellbeing projects
Key responsibilities include:
Casework:
- Provide casework up to a specialist level relating to Higher Education regulations and relevant legislation (including Equality Act 2010 and Consumer Rights Act 2015)
- Support students throughout their case by impartially advising on appropriate options, reviewing correspondence and written statements and acting as an advocate in informal and formal hearings.
- Develop expertise in University regulations, processes and operations and apply this knowledge to individual cases
- Develop knowledge of University, KCLSU and External Services to enable appropriate signposting and referrals.
- Communicate complex and technical information in a straightforward, accessible way including for international students whose first language is not English.
- Design appropriate case strategies, using a coaching approach to ensure client involvement and ensure students are equipped to take action on their case.
- Professionally work with colleagues across the University including Student Conduct and Appeals, Student Support Services and Academic Departments; especially when dealing with sensitive and contentious issues where students are in conflict with the University.
- Manage own caseload, prioritising in accordance with KCLSU Advice procedures and keeping accurate and confidential case records and statistical information.
- Ensure all casework conforms to the policies and procedures of KCLSU Advice.
Developing Policy:
- Collect data and record information to enable KCLSU to analyse trends.
- Provide case studies and statistical evidence in support of student-led campaigns.
- Occasionally attend working groups, forums and committees to provide relevant expertise.
KCLSU Advice and Wellbeing Projects:
- Work with the Wellbeing Team to plan and deliver student wellbeing training.
- Work on collaborative projects with the University and KCLSU to provide the student experience in line with KCLSU strategy.

Do you want to join an organisation committed to addressing illiteracy amongst people in prison?
Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Highpoint. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme at HMP Highpoint, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison-based.
