Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Purpose of the job/about the role
The Supporter Care team is responsible for providing the highest level of customer care to everyone who interacts with and supports Dementia UK. As the Supporter Care Officer, you will help maintain and drive fundraising growth across various income streams. You will achieve this by ensuring the best possible supporter experience for all our donors and by proactively improving processes and ways of working to support this overarching responsibility.
Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, the Supporter Care Officer will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Dementia UK. You will respond to enquiries via post, email, and telephone, and will be responsible for thanking our supporters by adapting and personalising templates to deliver high-quality thank you letters.
You will also work closely with our database to maintain the quality of information available and assist with gift processing. This includes handling sensitive data, such as credit card information, confidently and securely. Additionally, you will support all teams across fundraising and assist the Supporter Care Manager in identifying processes that could be improved, ensuring our database accurately captures our income.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience delivering high standards of customer service over the telephone, with the ability to handle enquiries diplomatically and sensitively. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team, building relationships with both colleagues and supporters.

About The Role

JOB PURPOSE

Job summary
We're looking for a fundraiser with experience in legacies to join our Public Fundraising Team. The Senior Supporter Engagement Officer will be responsible for building deeper relationships with some of our most committed supporters. This is an exciting role with opportunities to further develop existing products such as Gifts in Wills events, legacy stewardship and our mid-value programme. It also has oversight of our Big Give Christmas appeal, sent out to committed supporters to generate funds for a restricted project/campaign.
The role is managed by the Supporter Retention Manager but will work closely with all of the Public Fundraising team. They'll also be line managing the Public Fundraising Assistant, ensuring they complete their administrative tasks on time, and have opportunities to develop. Key relationships are the Research Team, Services team, the Comms and Marketing team and the Philanthropy team.

In delivering the role, you will provide efficient administrative and organisational support for YMCA Dialogue. An exciting vacancy has arisen in Islington Mind for an opportunity to work within the Islington Core community mental health multidisciplinary/multiagency team, that integrates services across Health, Social Care and the Voluntary & Community Sector.
This is a partnership project being delivered by Age UK Islington and Islington Mind with the Camden and Islington Trust. Age UK Islington and Islington MIND are both independent charities, Age UK Islington provides a range of one-to-one personalised support and Islington Mind offer a range of structured and open access mental health interventions including peer led bespoke projects.

Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and social care services, principally in the boroughs of Camden and Islington. The Islington Core Team has been developed based on the principles of the Community Mental Health Framework (CMHF). The Core Team’s vision is to provide integrated and person-centred care and to work together in partnership with primary care, the Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS), social care, communities, service users and their carers and families to support and improve mental and physical health for the whole population through a combination of prevention, supporting people to stay well and responsiveness to changes in need.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a key worker who can:
· Improve service user experience and outcomes
· Ensure people with mental health issues have improved access to mental health support
· Provide care and support that is holistic and person-centred, truly orientated towards the promotion and maximisation of individuals’ health, wellbeing and independence
· Reduce health inequalities often faced by people with mental health issues
· Integrate the community service approach across secondary mental health services, the VCS, primary care, social care, community assets as well as other physical healthcare provision.
KEY SKILLS:
You will be able to build effective relationships with people affected by mental health issues, be flexible in your method of support, ensure that a personalised approach is maintained. Be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, develop partnerships with key organisations and play a key role in a test and learn approach to community mental health services.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have previous experience of working in similar role or related setting and in working in a person-centred way.
You will have responsibility for managing a caseload, triaging referrals, case work management, connecting people to specialist services or community services to promote independent healthy living.
The role involves working with people who present with complex needs so you will need good listening and communication skills.

About the Role
The Street Engagement Team is a multi-disciplinary team that provides person-led support to people experiencing street homelessness and interconnecting needs.
A day in this role is never the same – part of it will be spent on the street, offering support to people experiencing homelessness. You might be out with another member of the team, or with one of our specialist health partners like a homeless health nurse, or substance use worker. Alongside this element of the role, the rest of your day will be spent intensively supporting a small caseload of people who are isolated from services.
You will have substantial experience in delivering a person-led, psychologically, gender and culturally informed service to people who are street homeless. You will be excellent at building and strengthening trust in relationships. You will be a problem solver, with a positive attitude towards change and service development.
You will also have the personal credibility to build confidence in the wider community and across partnerships. You will be both strength-based and solution-focused, developing and enhancing the relationships with a commitment to embed coproduction into The Connections services.
Salary: £36,159

In the role of Personal Assistant (PA) you will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees as they lead Church Army forward. We're seeking an experienced and energetic CEO to lead our vision to the next chapter in delivering mental health support to young people living in Bourton-on-the-Water and surrounding area with longer term expansion into the wider North Cotswold Area.
The CEO will have overall responsibility for running the organisation on behalf of the Board of Trustees ensuring the values, mission, aims and policies meet the needs of the young people at the heart of our service. They will be experienced in all aspects of Charity functions including statutory responsibility, safeguarding, strategic development, service delivery and design, leadership, HR management, service user engagement, financial and risk management and income generation and growth.
The successful candidate will be passionate about youth wellbeing and making in an impact in our local community with the vision, skills and ambition to enhance Headspace's service bandwidth to the wider North Cotswolds community and securing the funding to achieve this.
