Since 2006, ROLDA has dedicated itself to aiding vulnerable stray animals in Romania, one of Europe s poorer nations. Our mission includes rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Our EU-standard shelters, inspired by British designs, can house up to 700 stray dogs, providing them with complete veterinary care and preparation for rehoming.
We have supported over 48,000 animals and built two dog shelters and one for disabled and senior cats. Additionally, we offer small grants to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We primarily rehome animals in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. By addressing the root causes of animal homelessness through neutering programmes and educational initiatives, we have significantly reduced overpopulation, helping over 40,000 cats and dogs in Romania and Ukraine.
Job Overview:
As the Volunteer Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and impact of ROLDA through volunteer engagement. This is a remote position that requires strategic thinking, people management skills, and a commitment to achieving our charity’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Recruitment and Management:
- Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers to support ROLDA’s various programs and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a volunteer database using CRM systems to track volunteer activities and engagements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, building strong relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and necessary resources for successful completion of volunteer initiatives.
Community Awareness and Fundraising:

About the Operations and Facilities Assistant role
We are seeking an Operations and Facilities Assistant to work closely with the Senior Operations & Facilities Manager to ensure the effective and efficient running of the organisation’s administrative systems and day to day activities.
This role supports the work of the whole organisation – acting as our receptionist, as well as supporting on a wide range of administrative tasks across HR, systems, IT, and building management.
The Operations & Facilities Assistant will often be the first point of contact for the internal Helpdesk, playing a key role in responding effectively to enquiries, as well as supporting key projects within the Operations and Facilities team.

Role Purpose
To create and maintain an effective wholistic service to the Community of 9 Religious Sisters resident in a single property in Colchester.
To establish and maintain effective services and standards including administration and record keeping, for the individual Sisters and for the smooth running and upkeep of the house.
To ensure healthcare assessments of Sisters needs are undertaken and that direct payments for their care are negotiated with the local authority, together with any further allowances to which they are entitled.
To and create a warm, comfortable and safe environment for the Sisters, offering flexibility and a range of support and care, enabling them to live their lives as safely, comfortably and independently as they can, with staff in place to support them.
To liaise with the Sisters in the Community and to work alongside them in creating and maintaining a happy, safe and welcoming home which provides high levels of support and care.
Principal Duties:
A Health and Wellbeing: Main tasks
· appointing, leading, training and co-ordinating a team of carers to provide adequate and appropriate 24/7 care
· preparing staff rotas and leading staff meetings as and when needed.
· facilitating the health and wellbeing of the sisters as requested by:
o Making health related appointments and driving/arranging transport for Sisters to and from such appointments.
o Accompanying residents to appointments and undertaking hospital visits as required, in agreement with the Community. Or allocating another carer to do the same
o Arranging for visits from medical and health professional visits (eg: District nurses, care staff, Physiotherapy etc.) as required.
o ensuring Sisters who are unwell are provided with meals in their rooms if required
o sitting with Sisters and read to them and help with email and personal correspondence, if requested.
o Being aware of any changing needs and circumstances in Sister’s health and wellbeing and agree and arrange for additional support to meet the particular needs of the Sisters.
o As requested, providing additional personal support to a Sister who may have a health concern requiring additional help. This might on occasion, include some help with dressing and personal care.

B In conjunction with the Community Operations manager:

· To facilitate the best use of the building for the Sister’s welfare and undertake practical tasks in relation to this as required.

Our charity, the Jon Egging Trust, is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people to manage our Youth Programmes in North Wales. Previous management experience would be beneficial, but not essential if you can demonstrate that you have the key skills required for the position. The role will be responsible for maintaining and creating new relationships with school staff, local partners (including the RAF and corporates) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people. There will be a requirement for some session delivery in schools or at our partner sites. Working closely with the Area Director West, the post holder will be forward thinking and help to grow JET’s presence locally whilst identifying new opportunities.
The post holder will be based from home with a requirement to travel to schools, businesses and RAF bases within North Wales (predominantly A55 corridor - current schools are on Anglesey but potentially looking to expand to Rhyl and Llandudno / Bangor). Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that meetings with partners and colleagues, plus administrative tasks, are completed as required. You will be expected to work at least four days a week.

About the Role
The Finance & Administration Assistant is a newly created role that will provide various parts of the organisation with administrative support, as well as some receptionist duties. This dynamic role will sit within the Finance team and report to the Director of Finance, however it will directly support the areas of Administration, Finance, Fundraising, and three different Service Delivery functions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative tasks
- Manage external communications through post, telephone and email, ensuring information is redirected to the relevant person to be dealt with efficiently and effectively.

Fundraising related tasks
- Process donation payments received via cheque, cash or PayPal and similar platforms onto the Beacon database.
- Assist the Fundraising Manager in keeping the Beacon database up to date with donations/grants received, gift aid eligibility and forms, and grant contracts.
- Instigate periodic thank-you letters to donors.

About the opportunity
Critical to our mission, we are looking to recruit a South West and South East Programme Manager to be responsible for three geographical areas and the schools within them, and to support further geographical expansion. You will oversee your region’s Action Tutoring programmes, liaising with our partner schools and developing new school partnerships, whilst supporting your team of Programme Coordinators to engage pupils and support them to build relationships and retain a strong pool of volunteer tutors.
As a Programme Manager, you will line manage Programme Coordinators to ensure they effectively manage their caseload of schools, whilst driving the quality of programmes and ensuring that the delivery of programmes meets organisational KPIs. This role will take a lead on new school recruitment, regularly pitching to Senior Leaders within schools and managing school partnerships within your region to ensure Action Tutoring’s growth targets are met. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider leadership of the Action Tutoring programme team, lead on programme-specific projects to support the programme department's priorities and will be expected to support the wider learning and development needs of the Programme Coordinator team.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with people who have a frontline role, gets energy from pitching to schools and wants to increase their management experience in an exciting and rapidly developing charity. The successful candidate should be able to manage their own workload to a high standard as well as support others, have excellent attention to detail, be adaptable, relational and used to problem-solving and be able to work well with a range of stakeholders and be confident carrying out administrative tasks to support programme delivery.

Duties and responsibilities

· Lead on reviewing and improving programme delivery in the South West and South East through regular visits to schools and programmes. Using data to reliably assess programme performance and engaging with quality assurance processes to drive impact.
· Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Action Tutoring’s partner schools in the South West and South East, including members of the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring strong retention of school partnerships each academic year.

As Complex Needs Community Keyworker you will provide one-to-one support to women on Probation living in the community, and women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision. You’ll provide focused support in identifying their needs and empowering them to access appropriate services in the community. You will also provide some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support prior to women being released from prison.
You will manage a caseload of women with complex needs who are facing housing issues and provide them with advice, guidance and support that helps them connect with other support services in the community that can assist them to overcome barriers when securing safe and appropriate housing.
The role involves a significant amount of data recording and updating case management systems so you need to be prepared to spend a minimum of 35% of your working hours on this aspect and will need to manage your time effectively to meet the data management requirements. Job Purpose
This is a new role, joining a small and growing Fundraising Team, with responsibility for proactively leading the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, grant-making trusts, and corporate supporters, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.

We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our growing People team. This role plays a crucial role in developing and nurturing talent within the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring that employees have the necessary skills, knowledge and tools to perform their jobs effectively.
Leeds Beckett Students’ Union is changing and you could be a part of it! Experience in higher education or students' unions is useful but not essential, passion to help make our student’s lives better is non-negotiable.
As the Learning & Development Manager, you will be instrumental in implementing effective learning and development programmes for both staff and student leaders. You will champion EDI initiatives within the organisation, ensuring that every individual feels valued and included. Additionally, you will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes for all staff and volunteers, fostering a supportive and engaging environment from day one.
