SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Global Development Director, the successful candidate will be a self-starter with the relevant experience, skills and relationships to develop a portfolio of prospects and grant makers.

The Trusts & Foundations Development Manager will work as part of a collaborative and friendly development team and work closely with programmes to develop new ideas and applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To identify suitable trust and foundation donors and establish relationships, with involvement from the GDD;
• Work with programme teams to develop new ideas for business development and submit to known and identified trusts & foundations;
• Manage the stewardship of the trusts and foundations portfolio, crafting winnable applications, and delivering reports as part of the engagement process;
• Work closely with the institutional development managers to identify opportunities for their portfolios and on institutional proposal development when necessary;
• Develop strategies for engaging new prospective donors through research and represent the organsation through networking;
• Gather and share information on new potential funding and/or themes and contribute to the intelligence and MEL functions with donor information and competitor mapping;
• Manage and develop existing relationships in collaboration with international programmes;
• Line management of a Development Assistant and coordination of their support to other team member.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role;
• Significant and demonstrable experience of securing income from trusts and foundations;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• High quality verbal and written communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and a desire to collaborate with peers;
• Proven successful experience in identifying and securing unpublished funding opportunities;
• Ability to deliver high-level presentations to donors, clients and internal audiences.

Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Interim Database Manager, to join our team in High Wycombe. You will join us on a full time, fixed-term contract for three months. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £44,000 - £50,000 per annum pro-rated depending on experience. 

Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet. We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.

The Interim Database Manager role:

As our Interim Database Manager, you will be responsible for the management and ongoing development of our CRM system and all associated data. As a member charity having been established almost 60 years ago and with over 63,000 active members, we have significant volumes of valuable data. We are looking for an interim Database Manager to deliver existing projects and progress future development plans.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in database and data management, a natural interest in data analysis and ideally be an expert in WorkBooks. The role is a central one, working with all Directorates across the charity, so strong communication skills and teamwork is also a pre-requisite.

Key responsibilities of the Interim Database Manager:

• To manage and maintain the master data for all the charity’s areas of work
• To be the lead on specific projects to develop our data resources including working with external consultants to build APIs
• To work with external consultants and suppliers to ensure that all database developments, improvements and modifications are within the agreed specification, of high quality, fully documented and within budget
• To manage the time, activities and tasks of the Database Officer to support the needs of the charity.
• To create management reports, document data and workflow processes and inform colleagues on issues and best practices
• In conjunction with external suppliers, ensure that the database and related systems are suitably configured, maintained, updated and reliable and that all new data and software updates are fully tested prior to implementation
• To import and export data files in an accurate and timely manner by developing an executable, report or saved query. To offer technical assistance to users and to modify the executable/query when required
• To support and assist staff with the database and related systems difficulties and to provide solutions in liaison with external partners
• To assist the charity to streamline and improve business processes that impact on the database or related systems. This may include designing and implementing new processes
• Develop and run a training programme and user manual for internal staff that can be used as a reference and induction tool for new staff members; becoming first point of call for support issues

Essential experience, skills and knowledge required for the Interim Database Manager:

• Excellent experience of managing and administering MRM or CRM databases – entry, segmentation and reporting. Experience or expertise in WorkBooks preferable.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel for data manipulation
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Numerate with necessary skills to produce, monitor and interpret information and reports

We are looking to build and invest in a series of insider movements in food retail, management consulting, advertising, public affairs and finance. By 2030 we aim to see the ‘insider movement’ model mainstreamed as a vehicle for private but collective activism for corporate insiders. Insider Movements will be thriving within scores of just transition-critical industries. Your job will be to help seed and support these movements as well as helping build the broader insider ecosystem.

OVERVIEW

1. A background and experience of working within food systems; this could be through having worked hands-on on farms, in the public sector on agriculture policy, on corporate sustainability strategies, or through a master’s degree; 

2. A background in project management, public affairs, and relationship management;

3. A background in movement building, community organising, facilitation and/or advocacy;

4. Experience in fundraising and partnership building;

5. Experience in sales, recruitment, hospitality and/or training;

6. Experience of working in and pushing for change in large organisations.

You will have a few key aspects to your work: 

1. Support the Insiders group. Undertaking meeting prep, presenting documents and supporting recruitment and onboarding of insiders;

2. Help research and identify partners to turn insider insights into campaigns to influence change within the sector;

3. Help with the organising of the UK’s first ‘Insider Summit’ where we bring together people doing insider work across a range of industries and forms;

4. Input on the develop the methodology for insider group development;

5. Support fundraising efforts; 

6. Help with the project-management of external agencies that are conducting delivery work for each project, from conception through to delivery and dissemination with civil society organisations, government, media and/or investors.

As the SRH Services Manager, you will lead METRO’s London-based SRH services, overseeing a range of programs including sexual health clinics, outreach, and youth engagement. 

Role 

You will manage and oversee the daily operations of the Sexual Health Office (SHO), including staffing, results management, and helpline services. You will lead and develop a team of staff, providing supervision, training, and performance management. 

You will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation and evaluation of sexual health programmes, including the NCSP (National Chlamydia Screening Programme) and C-card (condom) schemes. You will work closely with other colleagues in our communications team to facilitate this.

As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. It will be the Individual Giving Manager’s responsibility to generate significant income through individual gifts, campaigns and appeals, regular giving, in memoriam giving, lottery and legacies, and to increase activity and income from these sources.

The person in this role will strategically lead the Hospice lottery to maximise income through developing new approaches and increasing its profile whilst ensuing full Gambling Commission compliance. The role of the Lottery Manager is twofold – working with agencies and spotting promotional opportunities to acquire and recruit new players, whilst cherishing and valuing those we already have by thanking them and keeping them informed of the difference their support makes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategy to ensure long term and sustainable growth of lottery income with support from the Head of Individual Giving.

What will you be doing?

As a Service Manager at Hft, you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. You will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support to those we support and you will help the Regional Service Managers to coach, support and manage staff teams effectively. You will be responsible for nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for Hft to help ensure we have the best staff teams offering great support services. This role also offers great opportunities for career progression to help you develop your knowledge and skills.

The purpose of the role is to assist the Regional Service Manager by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the registered service. You will also have the responsibility to manage the performance of your team; including your team’s delivery of care and support which promotes dignity, wellbeing and independence and a person-centred culture.

Alongside the Regional Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service.

As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an exemplary role model.

As a Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. We provide 24/7 support to some people, so you will need to have flexibility to take your turn on the on call rota. In emergencies you may need to go into the service, including at nights, weekends or a bank holiday.

A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.

About you

- You will have experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities.
- You need good IT skills and experience of maintaining records to be a success in this role.
- You will have knowledge of CQC regulations
- You need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or acceptable equivalent) OR have the ability to achieve this within 18 months of appointment.
- You will have detailed knowledge of Health and Safety issues, and Safeguarding regulations

The Energy Neighbours Project Coordinator enables all staff and organisations involved in the project to work together effectively. The Coordinator works with the Project Manager to develop effective, safe ways of working that make the best use of resources.

The Coordinator ensures the quality and effectiveness of record keeping, risk management and joined-up planning across the project. They help the team work together on planning work and preparations for forums, conferences and reporting. The Coordinator provides support to ensure that the project’s safeguarding, health & safety, finance and contracting arrangements are implemented across the team. They manage the office and equipment.

NOTE: We want to build good team relationships and connections with locla community organisations, so most of the work is expected to be in person. However, some home working is possible by arrangement.

Programme Officer

Level Water is a national charity providing opportunities for young disabled people to learn to swim. Our mission is to work in partnership with national and regional organisations to deliver affordable, adapted, high-quality swimming lessons and start a lifelong love of swimming. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Programme Officer to join our dynamic team and drive the continuous growth of our projects by recruiting more sites & swimmers.

Job Summary: The Programme Officer will be responsible for managing the onboarding process of new sites, ensuring they meet our standards, and coordinating the referral of young people and families into our swimming programme.

This role requires excellent organisational and administration skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for promoting swimming as a lifelong habit.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Onboarding:

● Manage the onboarding process for new swimming lesson sites, including liaising with site managers and staff.

● Ensure that new sites meet all necessary standards and requirements for delivering high-quality swimming lessons.

● Work with the Training & Development manager to provide training and support to the new site.

● Manage and maintain the new site pipeline, engaging with new sites as required.

1. Site Management:

● Develop relationships with existing sites to ensure further opportunities & growth

● Ensure all sites are invoicing correctly monthly

● Input all invoices into finance tracker

● Ensure sites meet their partnership obligations to book swimmers

1. Referral Coordination:

● Develop and manage the referral system to identify and refer young people and families to appropriate swimming lessons.

● Work closely with community organisations, schools, and other partners to generate referrals.

● Maintain accurate records of referrals and ensure timely communication with referred families.

● Keep the database updated and accurate with referrals, swimmer and application information.

1. Community Engagement:

● Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners to promote our swimming programs.

1. Administrative Duties:

● Maintain detailed records of site onboarding processes, referrals, and communications.

● Prepare and present reports on onboarding and referral activities to senior management.

● Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the swimming programs.

1. Customer Service:

● Serve as the main point of contact for families and young people referred to our programs, providing them with information and support.

● Address any concerns or issues that arise during the onboarding or referral process in a timely and professional manner.

1. Training and Development coordination and support

● Support the Training & Excellence manager to book training for new and existing sites.
