Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Housing Officer to join our small and busy Housing team in Bethnal Green. We are offering full time or part time roles and the full time equivalent salary is £28,000 per annum , plus benefits including the opportunity for hybrid working.
About the role:
As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for providing a housing management service to the service users living in Vibrance owned and managed services. You will provide support to Vibrance services in relation to health and safety, maintenance, housing law and tenancy issues, rent collection, and arrears management. You’ll also provide specific support and advice to individuals who use Vibrance services with housing matters and money advice.
The Housing Officer role will be supporting our services located across London & South- East England and as such ability to travel is essential.
Responsibilities as our Housing Officer will include:
- Supporting prospective service users (and their carers where appropriate) with all aspects of the moving in/out process, to ensure that people are able to make an informed decision about whether or not to move in or move out
- Ensuring that individuals are maximising their benefits, including supporting them to make claims and liaising with the Dept of Work and Pensions and Housing Benefit staff as necessary
- Providing support to ensure that individuals are able to maintain their tenancies, including debt/arrears management, anti-social behaviour resolution, and the issues that can arise from shared living
- Working alongside our service managers and landlords to ensure that accommodation remains fit for purpose, well maintained, suitable for the individual residents and that all health & safety responsibilities are being met

JOB TITLE: Service Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Executive Officer
HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week
BASED AT: 11/13 Queen Street, Worksop, Notts, S80 2AN
HOLIDAYS: 28 days - including statutory holidays (pro rata)
SALARY: £34,000 per annum plus benefits
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct the work of Support Workers and Wardens, ensuring that the team are working efficiently and effectively, providing continuity of service for clients.
- Ensure organisational standards are being met in the accommodation service across all Hope properties.
- Draw up rotas in advance for sign-off from the CEO.
- Monitor staff attendance and report absences promptly to the Management Team.
- Motivate the team through regular one to one supervisions and by modelling good
- Practice.
- Monitor and manage team performance and progress reporting issues at the Management Team meetings.
- Identify staff training needs and submit requests to the Office Manager.
- Ensure adequate procedures are in place, policy is clear and understood by both staff and clients.
- Supervise the delivery of other services provided on site.
- Ensure that weekly property inspections are undertaken by the Wardens and that all health and safety requirements are being met, and they are reporting and recording any actions and concerns promptly to you on a weekly basis.
- Carry out monthly property inspections on all Hope properties.

- Assist in the recruitment and selection of staff and volunteers.
- Undertake regular file reviews ensuring all client files are regularly updated and are maintained in line with Hope’s requirements.
- Ensure that Support Workers are monitoring the needs of clients, and monitor the initial and further risk assessments against the clients support plan to ensure progress is being made and monitored.
- Monitor Support Worker caseloads and ensure that reports are completed thoroughly and accurately by the Support Worker and in an acceptable timeframe.
- Ensure housing benefit and council tax applications are completed adequately and submit-ted in a timely fashion.
- Undertake disciplinary and grievance procedures as necessary.
- Undertake evictions if these arise.
- Develop assessment criteria to determine suitability of clients applying for accommodation, and confirm applications submitted by Support Worker on behalf of clients.
- Deal with complaints from clients.
- Implement the warnings and exclusions’ policy where necessary.
- Ensure work with clients is tangible and leads to positive outcomes, and that Support workers are recording all outcomes.
- Submit verified staff timesheets and rotas to the Finance Manager/CEO for payment.
- Take overall responsibility for the hostel petty cash system.
- Ensure client charges are received, recorded and received by the Service Administrator and Finance Manager.
- Identify Health and Safety issues and action in line with policy and procedures.
- Keep up to date Health and Safety records in line with regulations.
- Take overall responsibility for accurate risk assessment recordings and actions.
- Take overall responsibility for the safeguarding of accommodation service staff and clients.
- Keep up to date incident reports.
- Work in partnership with other agencies to ensure a high standard of service is delivered.
- Monitor equality and diversity, ensuring an accessible service to all clients.
- Attend case conferences, joint assessments and meetings as necessary and directed by the CEO.
- Promote the service to a wider community.

As a key member of the Trusts and Grants Team, the Trusts and Statutory Fundraiser will work closely with the Head of Trusts and Grants to raise funds from a portfolio of charitable trusts in accordance with Child Bereavement UK’s budgets and targets.
Initiative, creativity, excellent organization and writing skills are required, together with the ability to develop persuasive proposals and nurture effective relationships with key stakeholders across Child Bereavement UK and externally.
This role comes at a particularly important time for Child Bereavement UK when the charity is looking to evolve and grow services, diversify into new areas, and raise significant funds for ongoing work. The Trusts and Grants Team are a vital part of the charity’s expansion into new areas, and the post-holder will have the opportunity to work with frontline staff to develop new projects and bids.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with public affairs experience to join our Communications and Engagement Team on a 12 month contract starting 1st October.
You’ll help co-ordinate the delivery of our public affairs work across Wales, working closely with colleagues in our public affairs team based across the UK. You’ll have experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships with MPs, MSs and their staff.
You’ll support the Communications and Engagement team with managing and developing materials for key stakeholders (invites, briefings, blogs) and ensure the tone and content communicates our bilingual brand in Wales.
You can formulate ideas around how key stakeholders and organisations can be turned into ambassadors and you’ll have experience of organising events and visits for stakeholders.
You will have a key eye for detail and will need to be good with tight deadlines and able to work well and confidently with senior colleagues.
The ability to speak and write in Welsh fluently and confidently is essential for this post.

The role
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the local office, managing referrals calls from people who are bereaved, assisting them to access appropriate support, supporting volunteers with service delivery and ensuring effective recording and management of relevant information systems and processes.
This post is based in the Foyle Office with responsibility for managing meeting spaces across the Western Trust area for service delivery. Ability to travel independently across NI is a requirement for this role.

We are seeking an experienced and committed International Senior Legal Coordinator to oversee international legal aspects of ProVeg and coordinate our governance & legal structure, trademark portfolio, the international legal affairs and data protection topics. RESPONSIBILITIES
Governance & Legal Structure Coordination

Support our internationalisation efforts and the set-up / registration of new country entities

Conclude & maintain necessary agreements (collaboration agreements, service agreements, contracts, and data protection agreements) between ProVeg International Inc. (US) and new and existing ProVeg legal entities, and liaise with external lawyers for advice
Trademark Coordination

Manage, oversee and expand the trademark portfolio of ProVeg International Inc.

Coordinate infringements actions with a trademark law firm

Support the development of a trademark strategy

Liaise/ manage contact with a trademark law firm
International Legal Affairs Coordination

Check and arrange international and national contracts and agreements for ProVeg C.I.C (UK) and ProVeg International Inc. (US) and liaise with external lawyers for advice

Data Protection Coordination

Ensure and monitor compliance with Data Protection Regulation for ProVeg’s International Departments and support countries with compliance with national Data Protection laws

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field required; graduate degree preferred

Broad legal knowledge, particularly regarding data protection, contracts, governance, business law, and related regulations. Knowledge around employment law, Trademark, and other areas strongly preferred.

Proven experience with a minimum of two to three years of working in a legal support role, ideally in the non-profit sector

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Collaborative attitude, solution-focused, and supportive of international colleagues (particularly Country Directors, Heads and International Senior Leadership and Operations team)

IT skills, including Google Docs, with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets
