About the Role

To work as part of a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported or community-based accommodation. Your work will be underpinned by the Depaul Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery.

Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for a caseload of clients as well as share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service. In accommodation-based services, you will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in a positive and successful move on.

Where the client lives in the community you will ensure that their tenancy is not at risk and that they have the skills and resources to manage and maintain their accommodation. Your work will be underpinned by the Depaul model of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy informed delivery, the aim of which is to support our clients to understand and act on their values, strengths, and long-term vision for their future.

Key responsibilities include:

· You will carry a caseload of clients for whom you will be the named key worker, and you will also take joint responsibility with your team members for the well-being and day-to-day support of all clients in the services

· You will lead on risk and needs assessment and support planning for your key clients and contribute to ongoing needs and risk assessment of other clients in the service

· You will develop and implement SMART outcomes based support plans for your key clients

· You will deliver one-to-one and group support opportunities within their accommodation and in the local community aimed at increasing resilience in the clients we work with.

· You will proactively work in partnership with multiple agencies including statutory teams, to support the well-being of Depaul clients following data protection and information sharing protocols.

As a CYP Group Facilitator, you will provide online group interventions to deliver this new and exciting, high quality service in accordance with contractual requirements, and ensure that we are supporting the needs and aspirations of Hertfordshire families.

About the Service

Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) delivers Hertfordshire’s CAMHS Early Help Digital Intervention Service, With YOUth. The CYP Group Facilitator will be responsible for implementing and delivering the group support aspect of an innovative partnership between BfB Labs and HMN. Together, we will provide a countywide early help digital intervention service that is accessible to children and young people and their families, aged 5-18, at the earliest point of an emerging emotional wellbeing and/or mental health need. The service will operate between 14:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.

About the Role

Our trauma-informed model offers a range of support options for CYP, based around digital interventions and supported by one-to-one and group sessions, so children and young people can engage in the way that works best for them. The service will build resilience in CYP by working with them to develop coping strategies and solutions that will enable them to improve their own health and wellbeing. We will also provide advice and guidance to parents/families/carers and professionals to provide a holistic response to supporting CYP and creating a network around them to empower and enable positive change.

The objectives of the With YOUth Digital Intervention Service are to:

• Promote resilience and strategies that encourage coping and self-management for CYP, enabling a reduction in referrals to more specialist provision.
• Increase the number of CYP who access evidence-based mental health interventions.
• Ensure more CYP in Hertfordshire have improved awareness and knowledge about emotional wellbeing and mental health.
• Develop an early intervention pathway for children and young people to enable individuals to get timely, responsive support aligned to their needs.
• Reduce waiting times for CYP MHS by providing a timely and effective early help service.
• Help parents and carers to better support their CYP through access to relevant, clear and accessible information about mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Provide a safe and secure online environment for CYP.
• Reduce the number of CYP experiencing a relapse in their mental health.
• Contribute to the de-stigmatisation of mental health and emotional wellbeing.

We offer:

This role is one of two Development Managers who share responsibility for raising funds from trusts and foundations, and each also manage a discrete other area of fundraising. This role leads on individual giving, while the other focuses on corporate giving relationships.

We are looking for a personable and intuitive candidate who loves making connections. You’ll have great written and verbal communication skills, combining your desk-based work with meetings and events that bring Clean Break’s work to life.

You’ll be confident in adapting information for a variety of different audiences, creating high-quality, persuasive proposals and compelling cases for support, clearly demonstrating the life-changing impact of our work.

You’ll have an eye for detail, strong financial acumen and a strategic approach to fundraising: considering a variety of approaches and identifying new opportunities. You’ll be someone who loves crafting new initiatives and campaigns but who also understands the importance of excellent database management and well-informed research.

You’ll enjoy working closely within a small, friendly team, and in collaborating with colleagues across the organisation.

The Role

As our Deputy CEO, you'll support the development and implementation of Unfold’s organisational strategy and be responsible for the delivery of programme, funding and impact strategies. 

You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of Unfold by supporting the development and implementation of Unfold’s organisational strategy and taking ownership of the delivery of our programmes, funding and impact strategies. Alongside the CEO, you'll play a key role in ensuring ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality services that make a real difference and create impact, reaching those who need them most.

Supporting the CEO, you'll also ensure the financial stability of the charity by maintaining a sustainable funding pipeline and using data to demonstrate the impact of our work. You'll be identifying funding opportunities, overseeing bid submissions, and ensuring quality reporting and compliance. By representing Unfold at events and cultivating relationships with donors, corporate partners and individual supporters you'll ensure a robust and sustainable income to support our growth plans. 

In managing and developing our team, you'll be fostering a positive and supportive working environment where everyone can thrive. Our Deputy CEO will be key to shaping our future, ensuring that we continue to grow and make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

About You

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experienced Fundraiser: You have a proven track record in fundraising within the third sector, particularly at a senior level.

• Programme Management: You’ll have a good understanding of programme development and delivery, including measurement of impact and quality assurance.

• Data-Driven: You understand the importance of data in telling our story and are comfortable analysing data and making our change tangible.

• Inspirational Leader: You’re a strong communicator who can motivate and support a team to achieve great things.

• Passionate Advocate: You’re committed to our mission and values, with a passion for supporting young people and families.

Desirable

• Experience with CRM systems, especially for fundraising and client data management.

• Knowledge of safeguarding in the context of volunteering with vulnerable groups.

• Familiarity with the localities in which we work.

Working at Unfold 

Holidays: 25 working days (along with additional Christmas closedown days)

Pension: We offer generous pension provision: New staff are automatically enrolled for a pension after three months, and after six months we will match your contribution up to a maximum of 8%.

Salary: We are committed to paying the London Living Wage in line with the Living Wage Foundation and review salaries annually.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose:

Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide in-depth, ongoing support to a caseload of women who have been referred for support by prison staff, predominately the Mental Health In-Reach Teams and Primary Care Teams.

Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy and support to women in contact with the criminal justice system.

2. Maintain case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording.

3. Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders such as statutory and voluntary sector agencies.

Abortion Support Network is a largely volunteer-run charity that helps people living in European countries with bad abortion laws and provision access safe abortions in clinics abroad. ASN provides practical information, support, funding, travel and accommodation.

We are looking to recruit a new Managing Director to lead the team. ASN began as a group of activists and a mobile phone, and spent its early years running on passion. While remaining true to it’s radical roots, ASN are navigating the realities of building a sustainable organisation which offers the best possible experience for our clients, staff, volunteers and supporters. To do this, we need a strategic thinker who has experience leading a team and works pragmatically to get things done. 

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will have complete oversight of ASN, from service delivery to IT system procurement. We don’t expect anyone to be an expert on every part of ASN’s work, but we’re looking for someone with robust relevant experience who is willing to learn from our incredible team.
