Working closely with the Head of Innovation and Assessment and our grant and venture teams, you will help ensure that Ufi is informed about and is applying new technologies to deliver Ufi’s grant funding and partnership activities.

With colleagues and external partners, you will help co-ordinate grant calls, administer the VocTech Ignite programme and become a source of internal expertise on the potential of new technologies. You will be working with colleagues across Ufi to support the early stages of the grant and support pipeline, including assessment and the VocTech Ignite programme. This will require engagement with the Ufi pool of expert support and the Ufi assessors, ensuring that the right match of skills can support each grant cohort. In addition, you will be bringing your enthusiasm for technology, particularly the technology that supports learning and skills, to the wider team and helping to strengthen the in-team expertise.

This is a responsible, fast-paced role. Creativity and enthusiasm supported by practical delivery skills are essential.

We are a local charity to Broxbourne and East Herts. We support local voluntary organisations and empower local community groups. We also deliver a variety of funded initiatives that support health and wellbeing and employment and skills. Essential:

• Chartered CIPD membership and / or postgraduate qualification in either Human Resources Management or Employment Law, or working towards these qualifications

Key tasks and responsibilities

1. Programme management:

Provide effective programme management ensuring the Centre of Excellence operates at the highest standards, with strategic oversight of all workstreams, including stakeholder engagement, resource management, and performance monitoring.

• Leading the programme’s strategic planning and execution, ensuring that all workstreams—including budget management, timelines, and resource allocation—are closely aligned with overall objectives. Proactively address challenges to maintain programme momentum and achieve milestones effectively.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support programme success. Facilitate effective communication and alignment across teams, partners, and member institutions, promoting active engagement and collaboration throughout all programme phases.

• Establishing and overseeing a robust framework for monitoring and evaluating programme performance, focusing on impact assessment and continuous improvement. Provide regular reports on outcomes and insights, manage risks to ensure programme goals are met, and utilise evaluation data to inform strategic adjustments that enhance programme effectiveness.

• Overseeing the marketing and communication activity to promote the programme, ensuring it is visible and well-positioned among key audiences and stakeholders. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that highlight programme achievements, generate interest, and enhance engagement within the Centre of Excellence network and wider education and skills sector.

2. Network member Management:

Lead and execute a comprehensive member engagement strategy, driving value through targeted onboarding, recognition programmes, and an evolving account management framework to foster long-term member satisfaction and retention. Oversee tracking and analysis to inform strategic improvements and identify growth opportunities that align with the Centre of Excellence’s mission to expand impact.

• Developing and implementing a member engagement strategy, ensuring that institutions gain significant value from their involvement in the Centre of Excellence to include a recognition and awards programme to reward and celebrate members’ excellent practice and engagement with the Centre of Excellence.

• Providing strategic oversight to the enrolment and validation process for new members, ensuring that new institutions meet the Centre of Excellence’s standards, and work closely with the Network Member Manager to streamline onboarding, guaranteeing a positive initial experience that sets the stage for long-term involvement.

• Overseeing the tracking and evaluation of member engagement, using data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates on membership retention, engagement levels, and impact to leadership, and work with the Network Member Manager to develop strategies based on these insights.

• Identifying growth opportunities and enhancements to the programme offerings that can address emerging industry needs, supporting the Centre of Excellence’s mission and expanding its reach and impact.

3. Workforce Development:

The Senior Workforce Development Manager will lead a team of High Performance Skills Coaches to design, implement, and continuously improve a world-class teacher training programme. By incorporating global insights and innovative practices, this role ensures that the programme enhances teaching quality and raises educator capacity to deliver world-class education.

• Utilising insights from international benchmarking and emerging trends from global partners to incorporate cutting-edge methodologies and world-class standards into the teacher training programme.

• Leading a team of Skills Coaches to guide the development and delivery of high impact teacher training experiences, focusing on practical and solutions focussed strategies underpinned by international best practice that improve teaching, learning, and assessment.

• Overseeing the planning and scheduling of training activities to align with the academic calendar, ensuring that sessions are well-timed and accessible to educators throughout the year. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to promote training opportunities, generate demand, and expand programme reach, actively engaging member institutions and their teaching staff.

• Establishing robust tracking and evaluation systems to monitor programme outcomes, using data to measure the effectiveness of training content and delivery. Analyse engagement and impact metrics to inform ongoing improvements, ensuring alignment with Centre of Excellence goals and maintaining the programme’s reputation for excellence.

This role is office based (as above) but with flexible hybrid working. It is expected the postholder will attend the office at least once or twice a week.

Reporting to the Public Engagement Manager, the Public Engagement Officer will work as part of a team to deliver our mission of meaningfully involving patients and the public across Academy activities and in the way we work.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the Academy, our Fellows and our grant awardees to help deliver projects that ensure the Academy connects with patients, carers and members of the public in new and accessible ways. You will organise and evaluate programmes that feed public views into our policy advice and grants and careers programmes. Our current priorities include supporting more diverse communities to take part in conversations about health and research and developing new workstreams on health inequalities and climate change.

You will do this all by building strong relationships with public and patient groups and connecting with individuals to understand and provide the support they need to be involved in our work.

In your role as Specialist Recovery Navigator, you will work collaboratively with people with mental health and complex needs. With demonstrable experience of working in the mental health field, you will demonstrate a good understanding of the obstacles that can be faced and how to overcome them to reach certain goals. You will have a good knowledge of housing pathways within Birmingham and be able to show creative approaches to housing challenges supporting people to explore options as they move on from inpatient services. You will be able to empathise with the daily struggles that people face and will have a commitment to user involvement and empowerment and support people to explore any education, training, or employment opportunities. About you:

About the role

Working closely across the small team at SIDA, this post offers an exciting opportunity to support and coordinate knowledge-exchange communities of practice across a network of actors on global sustainable development in Scotland, including members from public and private sectors, academia and civil society. The role will support our members to contribute effectively to global, sustainable development by developing learning opportunities, tools, and resources based on members’ needs, as well as on key developments across the sector.

The postholder will lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of SIDA’s programme of learning activities for members including workshops, peer learning events, mentoring, webinars and other events on key topics of interest to the sector. The jobholder will be expected to support other events hosted by SIDA such as the annual conference when needed and to generally support the team deliver against the strategic objectives.

The Children and Young People’s Psychological Trainings programme (formerly known as CYP IAPT) is a service transformation programme that aims to improve Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYP MH) and develop the workforce by recruiting professionals for core and specific skills training. The aim of the Leadership in Mental Health programme is to do this by providing managers with an effective toolkit by which to deliver their transformation objectives, as well as to develop their personal and professional development in their CYP-MH leadership role and become reflective leaders.  It is a one-year programme for managers working in NHSE funded CYP-MH services, and consists of twelve teaching days, combining academic lectures, seminars and small group tutorials, and assessments which are highly tailored to working managers.

We are recruiting for an experienced Course Tutor to facilitate the delivery of some teaching and reflective practice tutor groups to help students consider the teaching in relation to their contexts and develop personally and professionally as CYP-MH leaders. The Course Tutors will also contribute to teaching sessions, and undertake marking, personal tutoring and make other similar contributions to support the delivery of the programme and promote the best student experience.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the national CYP IAPT programme and experience of supporting CYP-MH workforce development.

Location

Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Must be available on Tuesdays to attend in- person teaching at Rodney Street (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). Some flexibility will be required around non- teaching days to support with marking and attending programme meetings as necessary.

This role sits within the Community Education and Training team, working to support our learners to access, complete and progress through our wide range of adult learning provision. The main focus will be on providing additional support for learners who need wrap-around support relating to a range of additional personal and educational needs. This could include welfare, personal and family support and wider mental health and wellbeing support or additional learning needs such as dyslexia, ADHD, literacy support and other needs.

You will work with the team to implement strategies and support plans for individuals to aid learning and enhance educational experience. You will support the team’s administrator to monitor learner’s attendance, contacting them via phone, email or arranging a meeting in person where pastoral support is needed.

You will work with our Adult Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding cases across our departments, including keeping safeguarding records, making referrals and building a database of local support services available to learners and other service users.

Join the People team as a Learning and Development Assistant and play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support to our Learning and Development team. You will provide a customer-focused service, ensuring the smooth running of our learning and development initiatives.

Working closely with the Learning and Development Manager and the wider team, you will help support the ongoing learning, development, and talent management processes at Dementia UK. Your role will include liaising with suppliers to schedule training sessions as part of our Learning Programme, as directed by the Learning and Development Manager. You will also support key policies and processes related to performance and feedback, including appraisals, 360 feedback, and our recognition scheme. This involves responding to first-line queries and escalating them where appropriate, as well as supporting the delivery of 360 feedback processes and our quarterly recognition awards.

About FareShare Sussex & Surrey

We rescue surplus food from businesses, farms and supermarkets. This food is nutritious, in-date and safe, and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables and fruit. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it to charities, community kitchens, community pantries and fridges, food banks, schools and other organisations serving vulnerable people. Our food is a vital lifeline for children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and key workers.

We operate out of two depots; Guildford (Surrey) and Brighton (Sussex) as part of 35 Regional Centres, working as a network across the country with FareShare, a national charity. The Guildford warehouse is new and enables us to receive, store and deliver more fresh, frozen, chilled and ambient food across the region.

Last year, we delivered enough food for 2.14 million meals to help vulnerable people in our community. We receive and deliver around 80 tonnes of food every month, currently to 147 organisations, including homeless shelters, community pantries, food banks, clubs, children’s centres and lunch clubs across 3 counties. FareShare Sussex & Surrey also works to improve the lives of vulnerable people far from the workplace through our successful employability programme.

Main purpose of this role

The Employability Coordinator will form part of a project team with the Employability Programme Manager. The project team will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the Employability Programme. The Employability Coordinator will deliver Employability and skills-based training, as well as monitoring participant progress and providing effective information, advice and guidance. The role will deliver the day-to-day activities of the programme in the Guildford depot, supporting individuals looking to enter employment, education or training. Therefore, the right person would need to have the skills and confidence to deliver sessions to groups of 3-10 individuals and provide one-to-one mentoring sessions to participants. We are looking for someone dynamic and engaging, with excellent training, coaching and mentoring skills, as well as a commitment to delivering a high quality service in line with our mission and core values. In addition to working with the Employability Programme Manager, you will work closely with the team at FareShare Sussex & Surrey and be supported by the national FareShare Employability Team. Employability at FareShare Sussex & Surrey FareShare Sussex & Surrey has run a pilot employability programme through its Brighton Depot for 4 years and has taken these learnings to relaunch our programme across both our depots in Brighton and Guildford. This project will work with long-term unemployed people and those from the probation service (Brighton) and 18-25 year olds who are far from education, employment or training (Guildford) to provide the support they need to successfully secure and sustain meaningful employment.

The project will work with 60 Trainees a year across the 2 depots and will provide an integrated, person-centred employment service for the long-term unemployed in Sussex and Surrey. The project will be designed based upon the best practice currently within and external to the FareShare Network. These are the 3 core project elements of Employment Support, Work Experience and Training & Wellbeing.

Due to the nature of the job market in the region, our programme will focus on the hospitality industry. Utilising our commercial kitchen space at Brighton and clean room at Guildford, we will provide a varied package of kitchen skills, barista training and stock control across both depots.

In each element, Trainees will receive a tailored programme of 1-2-1 and group support. Activities will include coaching Trainees in important work skills and supporting them through the processes of searching for, securing and sustaining employment. Each Trainee will be taken through an assessment process to identify what is required to support them to secure sustainable employment. An individual development plan will be created for each Trainee. This will also include developing links to employers and educational establishments to source employment and progression opportunities for Trainees.

Creating and managing partnerships with other local community assets to bring wellbeing services into the regional centre or encourage, support and enable Trainees to access additional wellbeing support in the community will also be vital to the success of the programme. Each Trainee will have a limited personal development budget to engage with other services.

Trainees will be engaged in utilising strength and asset based approaches and the aims of the project encompass improving Trainee wellbeing and personal development in addition to skills training and the overarching aim of enabling Trainees to secure employment.

The Senior Programme Innovation Manager will lead MyBnk’s programme development, innovation, evaluation, and quality assurance. This role ensures that our programmes are:

In this multifaceted role, you'll be responsible for both content creation and supporting unpaid Carers to become digitally connected. You will manage and create engaging content for our social media platforms and website as well as maintain the charity’s website, ensuring it stays updated, accessible, and reflective of our mission. 

You will conduct digital assessments for Carers to determine their needs—whether they require devices, internet access, or digital skills training and provide 1:1 support to help Carers navigate the digital world with confidence.
