We offer therapies, advocacy, family support and community support work alongside our day service: a community venue where people can make the most of their abilities and interests.

About the Role
The Finance & Administration Assistant is a newly created role that will provide various parts of the organisation with administrative support, as well as some receptionist duties. This dynamic role will sit within the Finance team and report to the Director of Finance, however it will directly support the areas of Administration, Finance, Fundraising, and three different Service Delivery functions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative tasks
- Manage external communications through post, telephone and email, ensuring information is redirected to the relevant person to be dealt with efficiently and effectively.
- Support service/department managers with necessary purchasing.
- Keep up to date record of monthly invoicing information for services and liaise between the Senior Finance Officer and the Service Managers to ensure this system is running efficiently and effectively.
Finance related tasks
- Manage Petty Cash transactions on site, ensuring accurate and up to date records are kept at all times, and perform the bank runs.
- Collect and check monthly debit card and credit card reports with all necessary Purchase Invoices and PO’s from the card holders.
- Assist the Finance Officer in processing expenditure: checking Purchase Invoices against PO’s, ensuring that all authorisations are in place, and posting expenditure on the QuickBooks database.
- Assist the Senior Finance Officer in sending out statements to overdue Debtors from QuickBooks.
Fundraising related tasks
- Process donation payments received via cheque, cash or PayPal and similar platforms onto the Beacon database.
- Assist the Fundraising Manager in keeping the Beacon database up to date with donations/grants received, gift aid eligibility and forms, and grant contracts.
- Instigate periodic thank-you letters to donors.

Role Requirements
- Support planning and changes in the administration of children and young people’s timetable for children and family services.
- Support with photocopying of notes for subject access/ solicitor requests (SARS).
- Manage the SARS and redacting process with appropriate members of the Therapies teams.
- Update logs and coordinate the Clinical and Safeguarding Supervision across the Therapies teams, escalating non-compliance where required.
- Monitor mandatory training compliance and administer booking processes for all relevant training sessions/course.
- Coordinating specialist clinics, including spine and hip clinics; liaising with the Physiotherapy team to ensure the correct children are on the schedule. Liaison with external Consultants to organise the clinic lists.
- Carry out audiotyping of clinic letters and distribute as required.
- Update absences within the teams onto the SMI (staff care) system, as requested by the Heads of Service.
- Place orders for any required equipment and/or resources for departments and for the children and young people as deemed necessary.
- Take overview of clinical asset ordering, linking with the clinical assets team and management system, in line with MHRA guidelines and the medical devices policy.
- Track and monitor equipment orders with Heads of service, escalate delays and provide a central overview for all equipment re-charges and ordering.
- Raise and receipt PO’s and invoices for the therapies directorate and liaise closely with the finance team.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have three clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley and High Wycombe, and we are currently setting up a fourth clinic in Gateshead and a fifth in Redbridge. This role will report to the CEO of the charity and will work closely as part of the Senior Leadership team. The Director of Growth will have oversight of Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth within the charity. This will involve line management of the Fundraising Manager and Executive Assistant in the team. The charity has a vision to champion accessibility UK wide and to set up twenty clinics in partnership with local churches by 2030, there’s a current pipeline in progress to achieve this. As the charity grows we want to ensure that we have strong financial strategy and growth plans which enable us to achieve our vision. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office. We envisage the focus of the role to be split with a 40% focus on income generation, 20% on Clinic Growth and 20% on brand, marketing and PR, all aspects of the role will include leadership and management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:
- Working as part of the Senior Leadership team to strategically support the running of the charity.
- Providing line management for the Fundraising Manager, Executive Assistant and other potential members of the team as the charity grows.

- Ownership of income raising of £710,000 for the national charity with a view to growth each year. In addition to this an income of approximately £100,000 for each local clinic and ensuring that income targets are met across the national and local charities.
Fundraising Strategy & Finance:
- Lead the development and execution of long-term financial plans in close alignment with the charity’s strategic goals from a Fundraising perspective.
- Reporting monthly to the Growing Hope senior team and trustee board on income, forecasts and plans to hit income targets.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to our senior leadership team of four individuals – our CEO, Executive Director of Services, Director of Operations, and Director of Growth. We are looking for a strategic and innovative individual with strong planning and organisational skills who is committed to the Growing Hope vision and values. As the charity grows we require support for project management and development of processes across the organisation. We’re looking for an individual who looks at the bigger picture, can help us with horizon scanning and can bring new ideas and processes to our ways of working.
Job Purpose
As Growing Hope reaches towards its vision to have twenty clinics by 2030, the Senior Team require additional support in order that they can fulfil the strategic direction of their roles. The Executive Assistant will be flexible and adaptable and able to help the team with streamlining processes as the charity grows. This role will provide essential daily support to the senior team including diary management, project management and process support across the organisation.

The aim of this exciting role is to contribute to the delivery of Mind in Tower Hamlets (MITHNR) and East London Foundation NHS Trust’s (ELFT) Talking Therapies Employment Advice Service.
Purpose of the role
To provide employment advice to patients accessing ELFT NHS Talking Therapies, supporting patients to gain and/or retain employment via one to one information, advice and guidance sessions. This role is part of the national Employment Advice in NHS Talking Therapies programme and has been accredited by the Matrix standards for information, advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Role Specific
· Maintain a caseload of clients offering one to one support to help clients find, remain or retain employment.
· Carry out initial telephone assessments and action plans using SMART goals to identify clients goals and barriers to employment.
· Offer a range of employment support interventions to clients that will support them to find, remain or return to work.
· Offer one to one sessions at least 1 evening per week where working hours will be 11 – 6:30pm
· Work in an integrated way with the IAPT clinical team to demonstrate a seamless service to the client. Co-location to different NHS IAPT services and centres across Tower Hamlets to offer Employment Advice.
· Support clients to create CVs, Cover Letters, write applications, inform clients of job search techniques, and provide mock interview practice.
· Provide 1-2-1 support to clients to enable them to return to work after long term sickness absence or other reasons
· Work closely with employers to support clients to remain in their jobs by negotiating reasonable adjustments at the workplace
· Work closely with local employment law professionals and trade unions to offer clients and their employers with information about their employment rights and responsibilities
· Manage allocated service project and work with the team to ensure referrals are received on time
· Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed on time, including questionnaires, reports and minutes for each client engagement and that these are regularly updated using the IAPTus (patient database system) and protocols.
· Ensure Caseload Management Tool is regularly up to date with client session information and targets.
· Signpost the client, where necessary, to other agencies who will be able to provide advice on benefits or support that the client may be entitled to
General
· Comply with, promote, and contribute to the development of MindTHNR’s: Aims and
Values, Equality, Diversity and Inclusive principles and all organisational policies.
· Attend appropriate internal, external training courses, E-Learning, supervision, and staff team meetings and away days.
· Other than where central administrative support is available, to be administratively self-servicing.
You must have:
· At least 1 year of providing Employment Advice or equivalent work experience in Employment/IAG Sector
· Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to provide 1-2-1-person centred employment advice
· At least 1 year’s case load management experience
· Demonstrable experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and establishing good working relationships with other provider organisations, e.g., legal advice, job centres and HR
· Experience in offering advice around employment issues including welfare benefits
· Experience of engaging and working with employers in supporting people to gain and retain employment
· Experience of using client database systems and IT systems
· Understanding of Adult Safeguarding principles
· Ability to work well under pressure and deal with conflicting demands and plan, prioritise and manage deadlines and workloads.
