We’re looking for a dedicated Case Officer to manage casework and provide direct support, advice, and guidance to beneficiaries on a wide range of issues including health, social care, employment, benefits, statutory support, and housing.

In this role, you will assess the needs of beneficiaries and collaborate with regional specialist teams and external service providers to ensure that support is delivered in an integrated and effective way. Building strong connections with local organizations to reach beneficiaries in the community will also be a key part of your work.

The role is primarily homebased with will have regular travel around the London region for internal meetings and visiting beneficiaries, therefore you will need to live in a location that allows reasonable travel around this area.

There will also be occasional travel nationally to attend training / meetings.

Driving licence is essential requirement for this role.

Summary job description

As the Director of Programme Performance, you will be pivotal in leading a team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems. The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration for its own estate. For this reason CCT has been contracted to deliver a programme of work for Historic Chapels Trust (HCT). HCT owns and cares for 20 of the most significant Nonconformist and Catholic chapels no longer in regular use by their congregations, all listed at Grade I and Grade II*.  Key to the project is management of the assets, funded by the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) through their Cultural Assets Fund (CAF).

As a member of CCT’s national Conservation team you will be the main point of contact for all chapel maintenance related issues, liaising closely with contractors, local groups and volunteers. Alongside the Conservation Projects Manager for Chapels you will deliver the maintenance programme, including regulatory and legal compliance, as well as deal with utilities and insurance of chapels. 10 of the chapels are in our North region, 6 in our West region and 4 are in our South East region.

You will have previous experience in the field of historic buildings maintenance, repair or property management. You will be an effective communicator, be able to plan and deliver your own workload and also work as part of a team. As you’ll be working at chapels throughout England it is essential you have a full driving licence.

About The Role

The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. About you

The Finance and Support Services Manager will be a highly skilled professional with a strong background in financial management, risk control, and compliance. They will ensure adherence to the organisational Financial Framework, including implementing financial management and controls, planning and budgeting, monitoring and audits, and maintaining financial records. The manager will also ensure compliance with local regulations and governance requirements.

The ideal candidate will support and strengthen financial management, accountability, and capacities of partners, fostering collaboration between finance and programme teams for joint project/programme reviews, planning, and analysis. They will develop and provide grant management support for both restricted and unrestricted funding, and ensure proper financial monitoring of projects, including auditing of funds.

Jobholder Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant professional accounting qualification or a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or relevant volunteering or work experience.
• Demonstratable working experience, ideally in an INGO environment, but experience in audit and government organisations would also be advantageous.
• Experience in financial management, programme and project management, and administration.
• Project financial management and data analysis skills.
• Ability to represent Sightsavers with key external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

As our Pastoral Support Officer for the National Open Youth Orchestra you will play a vital role in ensuring that young people participating in NOYO are supported, safe and cared for, and have the opportunity to meet their full potential. You will work alongside the NOYO team and partner organisations in the planning and delivery of NOYO activities, ensuring best-practice pastoral and welfare support for all NOYO musicians. The role will also enable and encourage participants to have a voice in the development of the orchestra.

You will use your positive and calm personality to build strong relationships with our musicians, their families and our partners, to ensure we deliver activities where young people are safe and supported. You will be a great communicator, understanding different ways of communicating with a diverse range of people, with the ability to listen, talk to and  nurture young people. And you will use your creativity to find ways to overcome barriers to participation and deliver fun and engaging activities to support the personal and social development of our musicians.​
