Sufra is an innovative charity in Northwest London that prevents hunger, fights poverty and builds community.
With the help of our volunteers and partners, we coordinate a network of food banks and community kitchens, as well as a social supermarket and café. These act as a gateway for guests to access more holistic support – including welfare advice, asylum support, volunteering opportunities and our award-winning community garden.

Job purpose
As a Senior Policy Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the policy influencing work of Runnymede across a wide range of areas. Your responsibilities will involve researching and developing evidence-based policy positions, drafting briefings in priority areas and supporting with policy reports, while working closely with other members of the team to contribute to organisational initiatives. A key part of this role will involve supporting the Policy Manager and Head of Policy in managing the Runnymede’s Parliamentary engagement, which includes monitoring ongoing legislation, organising Parliamentary events and managing the Secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Race and Community.
This is a challenging position that requires strong organisational skills, an ability to navigate high-stakes environments, and a keen understanding of policy nuance within the shifting landscape of race and social justice. You will be integral to shaping and advancing Runnymede’s anti-racist agenda and will thrive on collaboration and learning in a responsive and dynamic environment.

Are you technically minded with an eye for detail and a drive to ensure systems work effectively?
We are looking for a new Digital Officer to support our channels and meet the needs of staff and members. You will work closely with the current Digital Officer to ensure the CSP website and associated sites, interactive CSP community groups, professional network microsites and email systems operate optimally, and will work with our external agency and third-party suppliers on technical requirements, support, and proactive and responsive maintenance. You will also work closely with members of the wider Corporate Communications team, staff across the CSP including the library, practice and development teams, IT, and staff and member website contributors.
To undertake this role, technical knowledge of content management systems (preferably Drupal), payment systems, integrations, email marketing tools, Google products and image editing software is required. An understanding of W3C web standards, user experience, development workflows, and agile methodology is also needed.

The Role
The Fundraising Officer – Partnerships is an important new role within the Fundraising Team, acting as the face of the Charity and first point of contact for potential corporate supporters and other donors.
Leading on delivering Wonderseekers’ Curiosity Collective corporate fundraising campaign, this is your chance to develop your corporate fundraising skills to deliver a small, personal annual income target. Previous fundraising experience is a bonus, but not essential as support and training will be available. However, you must have impeccable interpersonal and presentation skills, be comfortable representing the Charity and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders, be results-focused and willing to learn.
Working as part of a small, growing Team of experienced fundraisers, the Fundraising Officer - Partnerships will play a key supporting role to the Team, providing exceptional stewardship to donors. Whilst supporting members of the Team with research and pipeline development, preparing briefing papers and funding proposals and writing and implementing cultivation and stewardships plans, there will be lots of opportunities for personal development and the potential for promotion within the Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the rolling corporate campaign recruitment plan, including attending networking events, sending out partner packs, activity and preparing /delivering face to face pitches

At it’s height, Cannington Shaw was the largest glass bottle maker in the world. All that now remains is the # 7 Bottle Shop – a fine example of what was once one of the first regenerative tank furnaces in the world. Derelict since closure of the works in the 1980s, it is now badly overgrown, with considerable structural deterioration. The site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, Grade II Listed, and on the Heritage at Risk Register since 2002.
In the ownership of the Cannington Shaw Preservation Trust, the site is about to undergo a transformation as the first phase in restoring the building begins thanks to a £1.3m grant from the St Helens Town Deal.
A partner in the process, Groundwork Cheshire Lancs & Merseyside are leading on a project to develop and deliver a Heritage Skills Academy that aims to link the opportunities presented by the conservation and restoration of the building with local people wishing to develop their skills – with a particular focus on heritage construction skills.
This role is designed to provide practical hands on experience of working on a live heritage project, allowing the successful applicant to develop their experience of partnership working, – as well as a wide range of heritage skills, crafts and techniques.

As part of this, they are looking to recruit 2 Grants Officers, each to oversee a substantial grants portfolio, overseeing the financial management of the grants. - Support in undertaking due diligence on new and existing grantees, including financial eligibility checks.

Full Time - 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: £37,500 per annum, plus £2,600pa London Weighting
I am currently looking for a Service Improvement Officers support the development of continuous improvement of services in line with the organisations aims, objectives and values.
We are looking for someone who has:
A track record of managing excellent services or a background in support management
Proven leadership ability with a proactive approach to problem solving
Good collaboration skills and a calm and measured approach
You will be organised, flexible and able to prioritise your own work. You will be used to working to deadlines, have excellent communication skills and be able to work quickly and accurately. In addition, you will be resilient and able to work under pressure.

Purpose of Job:
The Service Improvement Officer will support the development of continuous improvement of services in line with the organisations aims, objectives and values
Areas of improvement will have been identified through but not limited to the audit process, management accounts, a report produced by the continuous improvement lead, or a concern raised by the senior leadership team.
The role will be to visit services working proactively with operational managers and teams to develop an improvement plan and support the team in the implementation of these changes. You will also be proactive in identifying and raising any additional concerns as well as areas of good practice
This not an audit role, you will work closely with and be the interface between the services and the quality team
Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside the manager of the service and operational leads to support improvements identified in relation to some or all of the following
Support, both in relation to the people we support and colleagues
Recording and reporting
Organisational and legal requirements
Hours delivered and commissioned and any other rota issues
You will link the team to others within the organisation who may be able to support or assist
You will need to be able to challenge practice and point out good practice
Ensure the manager is cognisant of and familiar with systems, processes and policies
You will enable, support and coach the managers of services, team leaders, seniors and support workers
Raise any worries/concerns with the manager and with your manager
To perform all duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of our client and current Health and Safety at Work regulations
To undertake any other duties as appropriate to the post

This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust to support Carers of people with mental health conditions. This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.
About The Role:
Using your lived experience of caring for someone with a mental health condition, and a strengths-based approach, you will support mental health Carers in their caring role. You will provide person centred one-to-one- support, information, signposting, and advocacy, develop, and facilitate peer support groups and deliver training and outreach sessions at different locations across the borough.
