The Security Manager is the operational lead for the 24/7 security operation at Kew Gardens, ensuring that staff, visitors and collections remain safe and secure across our Gardens and historic buildings. This dynamic and exciting role is responsible for leading, supporting and engaging the Security Team (Kew Constabulary) in a UNESCO World Heritage Site and high volume visitor attraction. The role will lead across multiple functions including security and first aid response, incident management, emergency services liaison, control room operations, receptions, and night security. The Security Manager reports into the Head of Security, the strategic lead for physical security at RBG Kew, and will support them in achieving best practice at both Kew and Wakehurst.

Successful candidates will have proven experience in leading security operations and teams within high volume, public facing environments such as visitor attractions, heritage venues, large scale events, or similar. They will be well versed in delivering best practice in physical security, conducting and reviewing security risk assessments, and implementing security measures and procedures to protect staff, visitors and assets.

We are looking for people who are highly collaborative, and capable of working in partnership with multiple business areas. Successful candidates will be passionate and inspiring leaders of teams, capable of maintaining a positive and supporting team environment to achieve success.

Appointment to the role is subject to enhanced DBS clearance. Whilst working time will be predominantly based at Kew Gardens, there will also be a requirement for the successful candidate to travel to Wakehurst for a few days each month.

Overview of the Projects Manager – South Asia role and the team

The Projects Manager – South Asia will join the projects team and interface with new and existing project partners in areas where the Church is persecuted and/or suffering. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating and overseeing projects in South Asia that align with Barnabas Aid’s mission and objectives. It involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from proposal evaluation and grant administration to monitoring and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of suffering Christians through effective grant management.

Purpose of the Job 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical lead working within our Mental Health Support Teams and wider Children and Young People’s Services. As an integral part of our services, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of mental health interventions for children and young people. You will provide  clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and national guidelines. This role involves overseeing the delivery of low-intensity and early intervention mental health support within schools and the community for children and young people between the ages of 5-18 (for young people with SEND under 25). In addition, you will ensure professional development and clinical governance.

Job Summary

The role includes:

• Providing case management and clinical supervision (1:1 and group) and some line management
• Supporting the team to write sensitive and appropriate reports concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of children and young people
• Carrying out clinical case file audits to ensure high quality practice and to support practitioners and trainees
• Ensuring that practitioners and trainees work within their scope of practice and adhere to professional standards
• Ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice in accordance with national guidance and national and local policies (including NHS and educational frameworks)
• Escalating referrals where the level of need is beyond the scope of the service
• Contributing to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of the MHST model
• Where appropriate, directly delivering sessions to more complex young people or families

Person Specification

Essential

• Professional qualification (e.g., Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing).
• Accreditation with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, BACP, UKCP, BPS, BABCP, NMC, Social Work England).
• Significant experience (minimum of 5 years) in child and adolescent mental health, including direct work with children and families with complex needs
• Experience of providing clinical supervision to practitioners working with children
• Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions (e.g. CBT, trauma-informed approaches)
• Experience of managing risk and safeguarding concerns
• Excellent communication skills and non-judgmental approach to working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Understanding of neurodiversity and the needs of children with additional or complex needs and an adaptable approach to what works

Desirable

• Knowledge of the MHST model, early intervention, and school-based mental health services
• Experience of working in education settings or school-based mental health teams

We are seeking a passionate, connected and well-organised leader, to manage and develop our Church Engagement team and mission with UK churches, networks, community groups and volunteers. The role requires someone who is motivated by their Christian faith and has a passion to inspire and influence the UK Church to show love, strengthen faith and bring joy to millions of people across the Middle East and North Africa.

As we look towards our 30th anniversary, we want to inspire a new generation of churches and individuals to engage with global and local mission; to raise awareness and understanding of the Church in the MENA and to increase engagement, giving and prayer.

The Church Engagement team sits within the External Engagement Department, which covers areas including communications, publications and resources, press and media, digital content and marketing, fundraising appeals, church engagement, events and volunteers. Teams work closely together on shared activities to ensure that the strategy is connected and delivers a coherent public message, maximising every potential opportunity to increase income and deepen understanding and engagement. Other office staff include those focused on operations and finance, as well as a small Development Team engaging with major donors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will allow you to make a real difference to the lives of millions of people in the Middle East and North Africa.  You will help to manage, maintain and increase income and engagement through the following key responsibilities:

·To assist with delivering the church partnership and media projects programme, inviting church leaders and churches to join, helping research, prepare and send project proposals, reports and associated resources.

·To analyse current church giving patterns and identify pathways to increase engagement, levels and forms of giving (including individual giving in conjunction with other team members).

·Support with high-level giving church relationships and work with the Engagement Officer to mobilise ambassadors and volunteers within churches to encourage prayer for the MENA and church giving.

·Oversee SAT-7’s presence at events and conferences to maximise opportunities for engagement and increased reach with existing and new supporters.

·To assist with identifying current and future engagement resources to inspire and mobilise supporter churches and wider opportunities with denominations and Christian networks.

·Lead regular one to ones and promote the process of SAT-7 UK’s personal development plans for team members throughout the year e.g. conducting appraisals and mid-year reviews.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker and Deputy Team Manager to join our Support Team. The successful candidate will lead by example, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery in line with Baca's vision, mission, and values. This role involves supporting the team manager in day-to-day operations, decision-making, and problem-solving to achieve key outcomes for young people. These include improved physical and emotional wellbeing, increased engagement with education, employment, and training, social engagement, and personal safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the support team to deliver high-quality services to young people.
• Support the team manager in daily operations and decision-making.
• Organise and coordinate meetings to achieve desired outcomes.
• Lead decision-making about young people's progress and transitions.

The role requires an enhanced DBS check and the ability to travel across the UK, including overnight stays.

About the Role  

You will be joining at an exciting time for Ataxia UK as we celebrate our 60th anniversary year.

This brand-new role is an important part of our new strategy to sustainably grow our unrestricted income. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications and the wider team, the Senior Philanthropy Manager will lead the work to build a pipeline of major donors and family trusts and foundations.

You will be responsible for developing an excellent stewardship programme which nurtures income-generating relationships with Ataxia UK’s major donors. You will initially work with a fixed-term Philanthropy Consultant to lead the development of a researched and actionable pipeline of prospective new donors, and you will then work to successfully engage this pipeline. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a brand-new function as a senior member of an experienced team of fundraisers.

Ataxia UK operates a hybrid- working policy, with part time staff working 3 or 4 days a week expected to work from our offices in Highgate a minimum of 1 day a week. The role will require some occasional travel within the UK and, more rarely, internationally.

The right candidate will be a natural relationship builder with a proven track record of securing high value, long term partnerships with major donors; personally securing 5 and 6-figure gifts.

You will use excellent communication skills to write compelling and tailored cases for support. As a key member of the Fundraising & Communications department, you will bring creativity, insight and experience to the team, and you will be a confident ambassador and representative internally and externally.

As an experienced major donor fundraiser, you will be comfortable and confident engaging with High-Net-Worth Individuals and their offices, celebrities, politicians and c-suite professionals.
