They will also provide administrative support to the Chief Executive and the wider team. This is a part time, permanent role.

The Finance and Operations Officer will provide general support to the Head of Finance and Operations across the following areas: 

Office Management

• Managing day-to-day relationship with landlord

• Ensuring office meets all health & safety requirements

• Managing purchases of stationery and office equipment 

• Booking meeting rooms

• Organising catering for internal meetings 

• Supporting with new office search and move to new premises

• Liaising with utility, cleaning and security providers in new premises if required

Human Resources

• Liaising with the external HR providers regarding employee documents

• Maintaining  employee personnel records ensuring that all annual leave and sick leave is recorded correctly

• Assisting in the recruitment of new posts

• Onboarding and welcoming new employees, including ensuring newcomers have the necessary IT and office equipment and access to the required IT systems 

• Coordinate annual staff surveys and collate responses

Operations

• Assisting the CEO and the wider team with administrative tasks

• Liaising with our external IT providers to ensuring all IT equipment is functioning and replaced when required

• Organising away days and other large meetings 

• Reviewing/renewing supplier contracts annually (including insurance provider)

Governance

• Organising Trustee meetings 

• Attending and taking notes at specific meetings (e.g. Trustee, Advisory Board, team away days)

• Updating the Charity Commission for changes in Trustees and submission of annual returns 

• Ensuring all policy documents are up to date and reviewed within the correct time frame 

Finance

• Processing invoices and expenses and coordinating twice monthly payment runs

• Reconciliation of the monthly corporate card bills

• Keeping the fixed asset register up-to-date

• Bank account administration 

• Collation of information for the auditors

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills and experiences: 

Essential

• Reliable, trustworthy and discreet

• Excellent organisational skills

• Confident user of Microsoft or Google packages, in particular excel spreadsheets or google sheets, Word or google docs

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Good numeracy skills 

Desirable

• Previous experience as personal assistant or office manager

• Demonstrable interest in mental health and other key issues on which the charity works

• Previous bookkeeping experience including use of accounting software 

• Comfortable using IT systems generally (e.g. online banking, web-based platforms)

Terms and Conditions

• Location: Money and Mental Health’s central London office for at least 2 days per week with option for home working the rest of the time. The office is wheelchair accessible.

• Hours: 3 to 4 days (22.5 to 30 hours) a week. The charity has a flexible working policy with core hours of 10am - 3pm and remaining contracted hours distributed throughout the week flexibly. We are open to discussing other flexible arrangements, such as accommodating school runs.

Benefits

• Holidays: 28 days p.a. (including 3 days of annual leave between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed) plus bank holidays, adjusted for the part-time nature of this post and therefore calculated on a pro rata basis.

Place2Be needs to recruit & support nearly one thousand Counsellors on Placement annually to provide 1:1 therapeutic support to children and young people in our partner schools. As a Counsellor on Placement Administrator, working as part of a passionate team led by the Placements Manager, you will lead on the recruitment administration and onboarding checks for Counsellors on Placement joining Place2Be. You will work closely with the Counsellor on Placement Officers to ensure Counsellors on Placement are recruited and placed in schools in a timely manner, from their first enquiry through to their first day in school.

This is an integral service of the organization delivering counselling to around 650 people per year. Seeking a proactive and experienced Administrator to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy and growing IAPT counselling service through excellent administration skills. You will work closely with and support the Therapy Service Co-ordinator and Therapy Service Administrators to ensure effective administration and organisation of the service.

Pete’s Dragons is an award-winning charity which provides postvention support to those affected by suicide.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person that would like to help develop and grow the charity’s fundraising capacity.

The role will involve nuturing relationships with funders & partners, assisting with the logistics of fundraising events, liaison of volunteers, day-to-day running of social media profiles across multiple platforms and providing administration support to funding projects.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to take on this role with a view to engaging in training & development which will support a step up to being a Fundraising Lead.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant and Administrator to support our team and ensure the smooth operation of our office. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated, experienced executive assistant with administration experience to join our warm and friendly mental health charity. Dose of Nature is in an exciting phase of growth as we continue to receive greater funding to expand our reach. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, who can manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. You will assist with incoming calls and enquiries from our clients and volunteers whilst supporting our team members with recurring daily tasks and stand-alone projects with minimal direction and supervision. 

The successful candidate will be a key player in facilitating our mission by providing exceptional administrative support and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the organisation. We offer candidates hybrid working arrangements with the opportunity to work on-site in our nature reserve at Pensford Field, near Kew Gardens, 1-2 days per week.

We’ll also be looking for a background in an admin role where you dealt with people from a wide range of backgrounds, both over the phone and face-to-face. There is a requirement in the role to generate, print and record prescriptions. Familiar with all aspects of electronic communication such as email, diaries and the intranet, you have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows files and folders too. What’s more, you have lots of initiative, are great at multi-tasking, work well within a team and under direction from others.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post-holder to work 37 hours per week.

About the Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP)

The Brent Centre for Young People is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 700 young people a year with a wide range of issues. We offer specialised treatment in the areas of depression, suicide prevention, tackling self-harm, eating disorders, exam anxiety and more. Our approach is rooted in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. We aim to reach significantly more young people in the years ahead, drawing on our heritage that combines specialist treatment in-house and outreach into communities. The Brent Centre is also an important Research Centre on Adolescent Breakdown and Adolescent Psychotherapy.

Fundraising at BCYP

BCYP has historically been very successful in raising funds from non-statutory sources, particularly trusts and foundations, and is grateful to hold a number of established relationships with grant- makers. We work hard to ensure that we submit excellent, data-driven applications and evaluations. Until now, applications have largely been submitted by our Fundraising Manager- Trusts & Foundations, with occasional support from a freelance bid-writer. We now want to recruit a new member of the team, to help us to grow our income stream in this area and help us to steward these key relationships.

In this exciting newly created role, you will be responsible for helping to grow our income from grant- makers to design and promote funding opportunities, and to steward relationships with supporters through the giving cycle. We are looking for a fundraiser with at least three to four years of experience in identifying prospects and grant-writing, and who has experienced success in securing funds. Vitally, we want to recruit an individual who is as committed to Brent’s vision, and who will work with us to help us be there for young people in the coming years.

the main purpose of the role:

• to offer high quality customer service to all visitors and enquirers;
• to be responsible for the day to day operation of the reception area, providing information efficiently and effectively;
• to undertake administration for gym membership and meeting room bookings;
• to undertake additional general administration for The Bridge and provide administrative support to the management team when required.

Our team in Greenwich work together to offer a range of support to promote wellbeing and help people to manage their mental health. Client needs shape our services and they are at the centre of all we do.

We are recruiting a Peer Support Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Peer Support sessions and work with Peer Support Volunteers to develop new opportunities. Groups will be held at our Greenwich centre and at venues across the borough of Greenwich. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.

You will have experience of group development, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement. You will be highly organised and ensure all client data is accurately entered into our Views database. All records of groups and activities will also be entered promptly onto the database. Additionally, you will complete all client Peer Support registrations to ensure client needs are assessed and positive outcomes are achieved through engagement with the Peer Support Services.
