Age UKs IT Service Management Team is looking for an experienced ITSM administrator to take on a new role of ITSM Lead.
Reporting into the ITSM Service Desk Manager, you will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of our ITSM platform and evidence working with multiple diverse stakeholders. This is a hands-on role configuring the platform and its various modules. We integrate to multiple systems so a good understanding of these is essential. Experience of integrations would be beneficial.
Automation is key to our success in supporting business objectives so the role holder will have practical experience of implementing digital workflow to solve business problems. Using a blend of technical awareness and strong communication skills, you'll lead the ITSM automation backlog for Age UK. Our ITSM platform is built on Hornbill.
You'll be responsible for the line management of the Junior Hornbill administrator, supporting and working with them to bridge the gap between technical aspects and customer requirements to automate IT and other business processes using our ITSM platform Hornbill.
Please note this role is hybrid and predominantly you will be working from home, with occasional visits to one of our regional offices in London, Blackpool, Devon or Warrington. Summary
The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Since then, it has operated a wide range of leadership development programmes, networks, research, conference and events, and published a range of key leadership resources to equip school leaders at every level to put their vision into practice.
Part of this provision has been as a very successful national provider of NPQ programmes. Beginning in 2017 with the delivery of NPQs for Headteachers, our suite of programmes has now expanded to include programmes for Specialist Teachers, Senior Leaders and also Executive Leaders. More recently, a partnership between the Church of England and the Catholic Education Service is also enabling programmes to be delivered more widely as together our school provision represents around 34% of the sector.
You will be supporting the Learning Specialist's work across a range of digital systems, although primarily the Blackboard LMS. The role will focus on ensuring our NPQ participants and participants on other programmes have the best possible experience when using the LMS by providing technical support and administration. This will also include responsibility for responding to queries from delivery partners and participants about Blackboard. Where necessary, this will also require working across other systems, including the Salesforce CRM, and supporting with live teaching sessions on Zoom, Teams or other platforms.

- Whilst this is a remote role, the post-holder will need to travel for the following reasons:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and their administration

We are seeking an Event Assistant to support both the London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM) event side and Tommy’s side (affectionately nicknamed Team Tommy’s). This is an incredibly exciting time to join the team and gain fantastic experience in both the charity and events industry at one of the UK's leading mass participation events, which is owned and operated by Tommy's.
For the LLHM Team, the main purpose of this role is to provide first-class customer service and support to the 20,000+ runners taking part in the Half Marathon, as the event continues to grow in size year on year. This will involve managing the helpdesk email and phone line, ensuring runners are accurately registered and answering any queries they may have.
For Team Tommy’s, the main purpose of this role is to support the Tommy’s team of 3,000+ runners in the London Landmarks Half Marathon. The role is responsible for being the main point of contact for the runners and ensuring they have the best experience possible running the LLHM and fundraising for Tommy’s through our support inbox and phone line. The aim is to deliver the ambitious team fundraising target of over £1,800,000 for LLHM 2026 and more in the following years. This role will also support the development of the Team Tommy’s LLHM Corporate Challenge, a product that recruits a team of corporate runners to take part in the LLHM and fundraise for Tommy’s.

About the Role

We are searching for a Communications and Project Assistant to join our team. You will be working with our Brand and Communications Team to craft on-brand communications across our social media platforms and website. In this role, you will support the implementation of our communications strategy and develop content on our website, all whilst following our visual identity and tone-of-voice guidelines. You will also be working with the wider NDC team to support the delivery of our online training and workshops.
Role Description
Communications
- Support implementation of social media strategy
- Schedule and post content on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, BlueSky, YouTube, X)
- Update website copy and other content (using SquareSpace)
- Support creation of visual assets for social media and website using Adobe Express (or other Adobe Creative Suite software if you have experience)
- Format documents in line with our brand guidelines
- Research trends and opportunities across social media platforms (content, sounds, filters, keywords)
- Support team members to produce reports and presentations
Project
- Monitor training and course bookings (using Acuity Scheduling)
- Support training and workshop administration
- Support online events (we host on Zoom and Microsoft Teams)
- Transcribe/edit auto-transcribed captions for video content
General
- Be a point of contact and support team members
- Support with other general administrative tasks to support Neurodiverse Connection to run efficiently in line with our organisational strategy and values

I am working exclusively with a wonderful historic membership organisation with a rich legacy spanning several centuries, located in the heart of central London. The associated charitable trust of this organisation provides grants to support educational research and aids small charities in their field. Both the company and the trust are located in an historic and stunning hall which also serves as a very sought-after venue for corporate events.
Your new role
This is a part-time position which can be over 3 full days or 4 shorter days. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential support across multiple areas, including charity administration, accounts and events management. You will assist with the grant and prize administration, support accounts with various tasks and help organise and manage a variety of events throughout the year. Additionally, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the office by managing equipment and supplies.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need to understand and appreciate the culture that comes with working in an organisation with a rich history and traditional values, which are reflected in its daily operations. You should be able to prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines while being able to help in various departments. Confidence in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and experience with membership databases are essential.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £21,000 (60% of the pro rata £35,000 FTE) for 21 hours per week. Additional benefits include an employer's pension contribution of 15% of salary after the first year, a 15-day annual holiday per annum (pro rata 25 days for FTE), plus a 2-week Christmas closure period, health cover and Death-in-Service cover from the day you start. This is an office-based role with some flexibility to work remotely after a successful probation period.
