About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving care for critically ill patients in the NHS and beyond. Our National Clinical Audits (NCAs) use accurate, complete and valid data to provide hospitals with reports, which benchmark them against their peers, for use in improving the quality of the care they provide. The ideal candidate will utilise their experience, knowledge and skills to make a significant impact across data processing and reporting.
You will work across our NCAs, including the Case Mix Programme (CMP), auditing adult critical care, and the National Cardiac Arrest Audit (NCAA), auditing resuscitation team response to in-hospital cardiac arrest. You will manage the participation of an allocation of units/hospitals, supporting audit staff in the collection, submission and processing of high- quality data, and running accurate reports to time and target.
What you’ll need to succeed
- It is essential that you have a proactive attitude, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle a large number of contacts. You must be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, and adapt to different audiences with varied needs and skillsets.
- You will have strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, being able to understand and retain datasets and definitions.
- Knowledge of the health sector and working with hospitals or similar are desirable but not essential.

As Fundraising Assistant, you will report to, and work closely with, the Grants and Philanthropy Manager, under the overall leadership of the Director of Development and Partnerships. Being at the front-line of communication, you will maintain a positive, pleasant and 'can-do' attitude in dealings with all those inside and outside the organisation. The role is 5 days (35 hours) per week, however part-time hours or a variation to this working pattern will be considered for the right candidate.

The Volunteer Manager is a multi-site role across the Hub’s three areas, overseeing recruitment, training, and assisting resource managers, supervisors & teams with the day-to-day management of volunteers. What you will be doing:

About the role
The role of the Project Officer - Legal Services (POLS) is to support the PBLS team’s mission to advance the UN SDGs by brokering pro bono legal assistance from legal experts in support of international NGOs globally. The POLS will do this by coordinating the internal processes for project sourcing, scoping and allocating, and utilising legal expertise within these processes and when providing external training and communications.
A key focus of this role is to source and scope out the weekly pro bono projects and forms. The POLS will also engage law firms and other legal stakeholders, conduct due diligence, allocate projects, maintain project records, gather feedback, prepare internal reports and external communications and undertake other administrative tasks as necessary (e.g. updating software and implementing process changes). We are looking for a talented, self-motivated and well organised Project Coordinator to help ensure the smooth running and delivery of our Right to Rehab and Network of Exercise Professionals campaign work.
You will support the day-to-day work of one of our busy and influential areas at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and coordinate progress reports, diaries, partner communications and meetings, event organisation and quarterly updates from all four UK countries.
This role is a key point of contact for Community Rehabilitation Alliance (CRA) members, CSP staff and other internal and external stakeholders on all matters related to the community rehabilitation campaign, including responding to, and triaging enquiries, providing advice, guidance and assistance.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be very organised, able to develop positive relationships with CSP colleagues and alliance members and enjoy problem solving in a fast-paced environment, using your initiative.

Job Purpose
- Supporting the Director of Operations and working alongside the Professional Development Manager, you will have responsibility for the management of all the Chartered Institute’s existing qualifications.
- You will be responsible for the academic integrity of qualification-related learning products, including responsibility for the assessment and external verification processes.
- You will also be responsible for project managing the rewrite of our Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma qualifications through a team of experienced tutors.
- You will scope the opportunity to deliver a Level 3 and Level 6 qualification for future release, offering modular options for students.
- In addition, you will contribute to our journey to achieving awarding status from Ofqual and work with the Executive Director of Change on the final stage of our chartered status, achieving the power to award Individual chartered status for fundraisers.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide support to potential, current, and future students including advising on suitable courses and qualifications, assessment, and options for their career path.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Chief Examiner, External Examiner, and qualification tutors in relation to assignments or examinations.
- Attend the annual Exam Board (and qualification faculty training days) supporting the administration as appropriate.
- Be the key point of contact with external partners for the delivery of apprenticeships including Registered Training Providers, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), Ofqual, and the Institute for Apprenticeships.
