About the Role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon. 

We are seeking an experienced legacy professional to lead and grow MAP’s legacy giving programme. This role is instrumental in generating circa £1m annually, directly contributing to MAP’s vital work. You’ll take the lead in building MAP’s legacy programme – from marketing legacies to stewarding prospects, enquirers and pledgers. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll design engaging supporter journeys that ensure an exceptional experience, strengthening MAP’s legacy pipeline. You’ll also play a pivotal role in strengthening the profile of legacy giving at MAP, building strong connections internally and externally. Leadership and Strategy 

• Lead the development of the legacy programme, creating a strategic plan that considers audiences, products and channels and which is aligned to MAP’s fundraising strategy. 

• Monitor and analyse trends within legacy giving, both internally and externally, using these findings to influence the direction of the programme. 

• Manage and support the Legacy Marketing Officer (fixed term) and liaise with MAP’s legacy administration consultant to ensure excellence in both legacy marketing and administration. Assess resources and develop business plans to support team changes as and when relevant. 

• Champion legacy giving throughout MAP, influencing and engaging colleagues across the organisation and raising the profile of this income stream. 

• Build and manage relationships with external partners including agencies and suppliers including creative, print/fulfilment and free will providers.   

Campaign Planning and Management 

• Plan, implement and optimise legacy marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with MAP’s broader fundraising goals. 

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop audience-led content and materials that drive engagement with legacy giving. 

• Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, adjusting plans and activity based on insights and trends with a view to maximise ROI. 

• Develop and maintain effective supporter journeys tailored to legacy prospects and legacy intenders/pledgers, ensuring a consistent, engaging and inspiring experience.

Innovation 

• Lead legacy marketing innovation by identifying and testing new channels, tools and approaches to enhance MAP’s legacy offering.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Compliance Officer to support the administration of compliance and quality management related activities across the organisation.

As our Compliance Officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the organisation adheres to its standard operating procedures and processes and will become a super user of our new eQMS (electronic quality management system) to monitor and maintain compliance records. The role will be varied and offer the opportunity to support the Compliance manager with compliance related projects and work across different departments to help encourage a compliant mindset across the organisation. Full training will be provided.

The Role
As the Data and Impact Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the charity’s growth through robust data analysis, impactful reporting, and seamless system management. You’ll also support the launch of Microsoft Dynamics 365, shaping the future of their data capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Database Development & Maintenance: Manage and develop data systems using Microsoft Dynamics 365. Ensure data quality through regular audits and implement improvements.
• Reporting & Impact Analysis: Create and manage insightful Power BI reports and KPIs to measure the charity’s impact. Provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.

Citizens Advice Hounslow is a well-established charity operating in the London Borough of Hounslow, supporting over 15,000 clients a year. Working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, we have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced welfare benefits adviser to support to people affected by cancer and those who care for them. 

Role purpose:

• The Lead Welfare Benefits Adviser will lead and work with a team of advisers to provide welfare benefits advice, advocacy and casework for people living with cancer, their families and carers.
• The post holder will undertake casework to challenge benefit decisions including appeals, acting on behalf of clients where appropriate.
• The post holder will supervise and support the team of advisers to ensure their advice and information is effective and that clients’ incomes are maximised through benefits, grants, etc.

Training

Successful post holders who are new to cancer, will be provided with Macmillan specific welfare benefits community of practice and learning opportunities once in post.

Delivery locations

A key aspect of the project is to deliver an outreach service at the West Middlesex Hospital, our offices in Hounslow and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, with regular sessions to be covered by the team of advisers. Clients will also be seen in person at appointments at our offices, while telephone advice and video appointments can be done working remotely.

Main Responsibilities

• To provide welfare benefits advice and casework to people living with cancer, their families, and carers.
• Assist clients to challenge benefits decisions, including appeals.
• Liaise and negotiate with other statutory and voluntary organisations to progress the client’s case and ensure they receive all assistance available.
• Achieve good outcomes for clients through advocacy and negotiation.
• Lead and support a small team of advisers to ensure they work effectively
• Maintain detailed electronic case records and other data for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval and statistical monitoring and report preparation.
• Make internal referrals or signpost clients as appropriate for specialist help with issues that fall outside the remit of the Macmillan service, including housing, debt, and employment.
• Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills so that clients feel able to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Officer to join a health related charity. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to move into charity sector or an experienced fundraiser who is keen to grow and develop their experience and expertise across multiple areas of fundraising.

The role will be split between community fundraising and major donor (50:50)

As a Fundraising Officer you  will provide general team administration and process support for fundraising; support with Major Gifts thanking, stewardship and recognition.

You will provide community fundraising support through increased charity visibility across charity hospital sites and implement of new planned workstreams.

In order to be successful, you must have experienced :

• An intuitive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
