The Head of Delivery is responsible for all aspects of programme organisation and delivery. They are a vital and senior position expected to bring exceptional social work knowledge and expertise to the implementation and further development of Approach Social Work and wider work of the charity. They are required to work collaboratively with all teams on the programme, including curriculum, admissions and support, recruitment, partnerships and programme management.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about driving standards in social work through excellent practice, leadership and innovation, who can manage a geographically dispersed team and work effectively and closely with the Head of Delivery (North) and Head of Curriculum to ensure  a consistent one-team approach to programme delivery. 

The successful candidate will be a highly effective leader and manager of people with an ability to operationalise a large programme and develop strategic plans that support retention and quality. You will have a clear vision for outstanding social work practice and education with a commitment to systemic practice and other practice models.

Please note that you must be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England and possess a Masters’ degree in Social Work (or related subject) to apply.

• Setting a cohort culture with high expectations, strong support and commitment to the mission amongst participants. 
• Responsible for ensuring programme quality in relation to teaching, learning and the placement experience. 
• Being part of the wider leadership group that steers and embeds organisational culture and strategy
• Reporting and presenting on key performance metrics (KPM’s) to the Department for Education (DfE) and other stakeholders

A little bit about you 

We’re looking for an experienced social worker and leader, who has a deep understanding of children and families’ social work within the local authority context. Summary of the role:

As the Philanthropy Manager, you will oversee the development of existing high-net-worth (HNW) donors and cultivate new high-net-worth prospects. You will work closely with key Third Party supporters to establish our presence nationally. A key part of your role will be to strategise to identify new high-net-worth donors and create long-term relationships, ensuring that Muslim Aid becomes their charity of choice. You will also collaborate closely with fundraising and supporter services to organise tactical, innovative, bespoke, and strategic events that meet the needs of high-net-worth donors and maximise major gifts like no other.

About the Role:

1. Develop a three-year high-net donor strategy with stakeholders that drives long-term sustainable revenue and year on year growth.
2. Develop short-, medium- and long-term strategies to maintain engagement, retention and increase revenue with existing and prospective donors that supports our organisational strategy.
3. Design and evaluate business plans to maximise return on investment and drive continuous improvements.
4. Develop a full Philanthropy & Legacy system to review fundraising forecasts, review progress and implement quarterly tactical activation plans to recover potential losses.
5. Develop and manage annual philanthropy budgets and KPI’s in line with 5-year strategy.
6. Be a Brand ambassador ensuring that all external engagements align with the organisation’s values and messaging.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Significant experience in fundraising, corporate relationship and/or high-net donor development.
2. Proven track record in implementing corporate / business / high-net donor strategy and achieving challenging targets.
3. Knowledge of a wide range of fundraising mechanisms including CRM, sponsorship, brand association and employee fundraising.
4. Building and managing stakeholder networks.
5. Ability to work within a team structure as well as independently, be creative, take initiative, be attentive to detail and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Job Purpose:

To develop and implement strategies to raise funds through community engagement and events. You will work with the fundraising team to identify opportunities, build relationships, and execute fundraising initiatives that support MyVision Oxfordshire’s objective of supporting visually impaired people in the county.

Duties:

• Engage with the community and build relationships with our supporters.

Job Title: Events Fundraising Officer

Reports to:  Challenge Events Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9-5pm (including some evening and weekends)

Salary:         £27,000- £29,000 (depending on experience)

Role purpose: You will be leading on a number of the charity’s large events, overseeing on the day event logistics, marketing, planning and fundraiser stewardship. All with the aim of increasing potential income from participants.

Outside of specific fundraising projects, you will be responsible for building long term relationships with a wide range of supporters across challenge initiatives alongside third party suppliers. As the Digital Data Officer reporting into the Digital Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and leveraging data within the Income Generation team. This position involves overseeing the collection, storage and analysis of data to support strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency. The officer ensures data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations, while also identifying opportunities for digital innovation.

Collaborating with various teams, the Digital Data Officer supports, develops and implements data-driven solutions that enhance the charity's impact. We are excited to be seeking a talented and motivated individual to join Southampton Hospitals Charity as our Head of Grants and Programmes. Main Responsibilities:

The post holder will be responsible for circa £2.5M expenditure per annum ensuring they deliver impact for patients, staff and donors (grant values typically range from £2K to <£0.5M) 

• Oversee the management of the charity's current grant portfolio; ensuring grants are delivered on time and in accordance with internal processes 

• Ensure compliance with financial obligations (inc. payments, reconciliations and audits) and regulatory obligations (inc. data management, grant award contracts, procurement) 

• Ensure grant making processes reflects and champion current best practice

• Oversee the implementation and management of a Grants Advisory Committee 

Relationship & Stakeholder Management 

• Build relationships with key stakeholders within UHS, including senior health professionals, executive team members, partners and beneficiaries

• Act as primary liaison for the charity’s grant making responsibilities, ensuring alignment with charitable objectives and 2024-2027 strategic mission

2. Lead on the development, delivery and regular review of a strategy and annual plans, targets and budgets for the S&D team, engaging the team and our funders effectively in this process, drawing on member, partner and Board input, and aligning with our overarching strategy;
3. Nurture a member-orientated, empowering, positive approach in the S&D team, in line with our values, ensuring high-quality provision of support, advice and signposting, balancing proactiveness and responsiveness, and being attentive to members’ needs and input, as well as wider contexts and opportunities;

Coordinating with our other teams, forge and maintain strong external partnerships, especially leading on those that help us support our members better and bring them opportunities, such as with train operators, corporate partners, third sector organisations, and at operational level with devolved/regional/combined authorities;

Continually monitor and develop the S&D team’s performance and impact, including using member, partner and colleague feedback, supporting staff to consider and maximise effectiveness, driving innovation and efficiencies, and developing ways to assess and evidence our impact, especially as our membership continues to grow;
7. Manage our activity supporting the creation and development of new or emerging community rail partnerships, station groups and community stations, and our support for those undergoing major change or challenges, ensuring this is carefully balanced with existing members’ needs;
8. Ensure our members’ voices, experiences and insights can be effectively used by our other teams and external partners, in their delivery, planning and strategic influencing work, especially ensuring that case studies, stories, examples and views are fed through to our communications, policy and events activity;
9. Play a key role in our liaison with and reporting to our own funders, and other major funders of our members, including ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of our S&D work, collating good evidence of our own and our members’ impact, and maintaining a robust awareness of and ability to advocate on opportunities and risks in community rail;
10. As a member of our senior leadership team, work closely with senior colleagues and across the organisation, and liaise with our Board as relevant, to co-ordinate and manage the delivery of our overarching strategy, reinforce our values, ensure the whole team is engaged with our mission and purpose, and to show external leadership across our members, partners and beyond.

Skills and competencies:

1. Strong leadership and management skills, including a track record in managing, developing, drawing on and getting the best from a multi-faceted team, and working in and driving positive change in a complex, rapidly-evolving environment;
2. Significant experience and demonstrable experience in community engagement and community-led projects, ideally from both professional and voluntary positions, and ideally experience in supporting and advising community initiatives;
3. Experience in successfully planning, developing, delivering and evaluating programmes with positive social outcomes, including reporting to funders;
4. Experience working collaboratively and forming mutually-beneficial partnerships and professional networks, ideally with experience of developing corporate partnerships and/or funder relationships;

Other information

As you will be home-based and managing a dispersed team, we are flexible about your location. However, you will be expected to travel to our office in Huddersfield for in-person full-team meetings quarterly, and you will need to bring your team together at a central location with similar regularity in between. On top of this, attendance at occasional in-person events and partner meetings, and visits to members to learn more about community rail and assist the team, will be important. We therefore welcome applications from those with decent public transport links, not too far from a railway station to enable journeys to be made sustainably.

This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week. We use a flexi-time system, with the core hours 10am-3pm, and we are committed to being a flexible, supportive and understanding employer. This is a permanent position with a probationary period of six months.

Principal Responsibilities and accountabilities:
