You'll be: 

• Meeting regularly with colleagues to ensure email marketing programme is planned, delivered and optimised based on results and supporter insight 
•  Reviewing results with the digital and telemarketing teams to optimise lead generation and conversion plans based on campaign performance
• Collaborate across the newly created Engagement & Loyalty funnel (including Emergency Appeals, Legacy Marketing, Events, E-commerce & Regular Giving) to drive optimisation – both in our email/lead generation programmes and ways of working

What will you need to be a successful Senior Engagement & Loyalty Manager? 

• Understanding of the different marketing acquisition and retention channels and methodologies – primarily this role will lead on email marketing and lead generation via paid social adverts 
•  Specific knowledge and skills in email marketing and ESPs - ideally Salesforce 
• Ability to plan campaigns and communications that engage, motivate and inspire mobilisation from a range of supporters/customers.
• Skilled at critically appraising creative and copy from concept to completion.
• Excellent and extensive understanding of the full range of paid, owned and earned channels, metrics used to measure response and how channels inter-relate on/offline.

About the role

As the Account Manager you will contribute to and effectively support our global programme partnerships work, to achieve Save the Children's strategic objectives.

When someone sustains a spinal cord injury, it is a life changing experience.

Role & Responsibilities 

We’re proud to have recently been given funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to complete the next phase of our ‘Reuniting Sydenham Hill Wood & Dulwich Wood’ project. 

The project will focus on 27.4 hectares of ancient woodland habitat in the largest remining tract of the Great North Wood in South London. This natural heritage is a vital resource for the local community – the Woods saw an unprecedented 81% increase in footfall during the height of the pandemic, with visitor numbers increasing from 189,645 in 2019 to 343,385 in 2020. Only fragments of the ancient Great North Wood landscape remain; this project will help to ensure the long-term protection of the largest area of remaining Woodland. 

As Project Manager, you can expect to:

• Oversee all work, ensuring that all project work is completed on time and to budget as described in the delivery phase, holding quarterly meetings to ensure we’re on track
• liaise and further develop relationships with relevant partners and funders
• oversee procurement and management of contractors in the capital works programme for the Woods, this includes the installation footpaths, conservation fencing, boundary railings, and improved entranceways
• oversee and coordinate the Woodland Activity programme which will be delivered by the Senior Officer - Sydenham Hill Wood & Dulwich Wood & the Learning & Engagement Officer along with volunteers
• to implement a signage & interpretation strategy for Dulwich Wood to enable greater, physical and intellectual access
• liaise with the Trust’s Ecologist & manage Ecology Consultants as required. To oversee the implementation of surveys

The project will focus on 27.4 hectares of ancient woodland habitat in the largest remining tract of the Great North Wood in South London. This natural heritage is a vital resource for the local community – the Woods saw an unprecedented 81% increase in footfall during the height of the pandemic, with visitor numbers increasing from 189,645 in 2019 to 343,385 in 2020. Only fragments of the ancient Great North Wood landscape remain; this project will help to ensure the long-term protection of the largest area of remaining Woodland.

The Youth Leadership Programme Manager will work on a nationally funded project developed in collaboration with local young people, NHS North East London, and the University of Hertfordshire. Join the National Portrait's Gallery’s Development team as Fundraising Manager, Grants. You'll work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager to support the delivery of an ambitious and exciting fundraising programme and raise income through grant-giving bodies, including Trusts and Foundations, statutory funders, and corporate foundations.

The postholder will seek to secure critical support for budget-relieving activity taking place across the Gallery, including learning and engagement and exhibitions, as well as support for acquisitions, special projects, and capital works. As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.

The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.

You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.

Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.

It is a key time to be joining the charity and helping us to continue to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. The charity has been hugely successful, but the work is far from done. The impact of the sudden death of a baby is wide and never goes away, as we know from the families that we support. This drives all our work, across each department. The coalition

Send My Friend to School is a UK civil society coalition of international development NGOs, teachers’ unions and charities.

It brings together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media in joint campaigning to demand quality education for all children across the globe. Each year thousands of schools and young people take part in the campaign, teaching young people the power and importance of using their voices in chorus with others across the globe to create positive change.

Send My Friend to School is the UK coalition of the Global Campaign for Education movement which is present in over 90 countries around the world.

Location

This role will be employed by Send My Friend to School Steering Group member Results UK, on behalf of the Send My Friend to School coalition, and will be based in Results UK’s office near Waterloo. Hybrid working is in place whereby staff are required to work from the office at least 2 days a week. 

Terms & Conditions

This is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent post, with a 3 month probation period. There is likely to be occasional evening and weekend work involved, for which time off in lieu will be received. Holidays are 25 days pro rata per year plus bank holidays. Line Management

Although working solely on Send My Friend to School coalition activities the Campaign Manager will be employed as part of the Results UK team. Consequently, they will be formally managed by the Results UK Head of Parliamentary Advocacy in terms of workplace-related and employment issues.

• Oversee the development and promotion of a creative action which is appropriate for a schools audience, is highly innovative and allows for varied levels of engagement and activity: work with coalition colleagues in devising and promoting the campaign through member organisations’ networks and more widely through additional education channels, social media and websites, to ensure mass participation

• Manage the development and promotion of the Send My Friend to School website, social media, e-communications to supporters and writing and editing engaging digital communications 

• Be accountable for the coalitions’ youth work activities (Campaign Champions Programme and Young Ambassadors Network) that are managed by the Campaigns Officer

Coordinate the Send My Friend coalition

• Manage internal communications for the coalition and undertake engagement work with coalition member representatives to ensure active participation in coalition activities, good information flows, and to help ensure that activities across the coalition are well aligned and strategic
