You'll sit within our Philanthropy team, working on charitable trusts and foundations who generally give up to £30,000, working with a portfolio of approximately 75 active trusts and foundations. You'll research, identify and drive forward new income opportunities, maintaining relationship with existing donors and ensure our supporters have an excellent experience.
You'll deliver high quality, written application and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines, keeping in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and face to face. You'll match potential donors with projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach.

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland. You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.
You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. SignHealth is partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent, full-time basis. SignHealth aims to improve healthcare and access to health services for deaf people. As well as campaigning, research and health promotion, we provide supported living schemes and outreach for deaf people with mental health problems. We provide a national Advocacy and Counselling service and support for deaf victims of domestic abuse.
This role will be responsible for the collection of service contract debtors, as well as care fees from self-funding and local government authority residents. The role will interact with a wide range of stakeholders and will deliver excellent customer service – working proactively to reduce any barriers to debt collection and to improving SignHealth’s debt collection processes at a time the organisation is forecast to grow rapidly and significantly.
The key responsibilities of this Credit Controller role include:
- Raise all sales invoices (recurring and ad hoc), for SignHealth in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work with the Accountant and Head of Finance to develop and maintain accurate invoicing schedules.
- Work with colleagues across SignHealth to ensure that accurate invoices are raised – e.g. to account for changes in service delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders to ensure prompt payment and resolution of billing disputes
- Proactively chase outstanding debts through telephone calls, emails and letters
- Perform monthly sales ledger reconciliations and check for anomalies, work with other finance team members to reconcile statements to the accounts
- Provide regular debtor status reports to the Accountant and Head of Finance – contribute to the development of management information for ELT including the cash flow forecast and debtor aging – as well as drafting written commentary for the management accounts
- Maintain accurate contact and contract information for all customers
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and recommend internal process improvements
- Take an active role in aiding managers’ and team members’ understanding of their financial responsibilities

Our Technical Knowledge team oversees Blue Ventures’ technical pillars (Secure Rights, Community-Based Fisheries Management, Food Security and Financial Inclusion) and supports the use of data for decision-making, providing tools, training, and guidance to partners and Blue Ventures’ staff around the world. This team integrates expertise and deep practical experience with pragmatism and a desire to enable others to deliver lasting change, by distilling global best practices and knowledge into usable tools, appropriate training, and responsive guidance and support. The team is also responsible for delivering peer learning exchanges and knowledge-sharing events both online and face-to-face across the organisation, in addition to overseeing technical publications.
We are currently recruiting for an exceptional individual to be part of this global team, leading a critical pillar of the strategy on Community-Based Fisheries Management. This individual would oversee the development, refinement, and roll out of tools and training to support partners working with communities around the world as they establish community-based fisheries management and locally managed marine areas. These types of tools and materials include:
- Accessible tools and appropriate technologies:
Intuitive to use and readily available, including software and mobile apps for data collection and interpretation, simple decision support tools for assessment, planning, and problem resolution, and community-level materials for common activities, such as meeting facilitation guides or choice architecture to help communities decide which fish and fisheries to focus management attention on.

The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity. They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team. Purpose of the job/About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team at Dementia UK, playing a key role in the administration, maintenance, reporting, and compliance of funds and fund accounting.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for carrying out monthly balance sheet reconciliations, leading on all trading subsidiary matters, and ensuring charity tax compliance, including VAT and Corporation Tax, across the organisation. You will also support the year-end process, including the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts as well as assisting with the external audit.
In addition, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of financial governance by improving internal controls, configuring financial systems, and ensuring compliance with legal, VAT, and tax regulations. To succeed in this role, you will be either part-qualified in a UK professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or part qualified by experience, with 2-3 years of proven financial accounting experience.
