More than one in four children are growing up in poverty in the UK. It doesn’t have to be this way. The new UK government has announced its plans to develop a strategy to tackle child poverty, something that Child Poverty Action Group has led the way in calling for.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional to play a pivotal role in delivering change for the 4.3 million children growing up in poverty. You will have a demonstrable track record in securing six figure and multi annual grants primarily from trusts, foundations and/or the National Lottery.
You will have the ability to work confidently as a creative and analytical problem solver, and a hands-on fundraiser. CPAG’s fundraised income has grown significantly, and the team raises nearly £3 million annually.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of fundraising income generation, and leading and supporting a small fundraising team. You will be able to build and nurture relationships with funders, donors and other stakeholders, and have excellent communication skills.

Main purposes of job
As our Charity Account Director within the Client Services team, you will play the lead role in driving business growth across the Charity sector in line with our 4-year plan that we launched at the start of this new financial year (April 2024).
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, leading, inspiration and coaching of our Charity Account Management team (from Senior Account Managers to Account Executives, possibly Apprentices down the line), while at the same time looking after a select number of high value Charity partners.

Main responsibilities

This role will require management and delegation of clients when the team are on leave.
Sales and Revenue Generation: This role will require integrated working with our Client Services Director and Marketing team to ensure that sales support is directed in the right areas at the right times. This ties in with our recruitment strategy and demands. With the candidate’s standing within the Charity community, we also expect this person to unlock significant opportunities within the sector.
Collaboration: This role works very closely with our Client Services Director, who has overall responsibility for all Client Services related activity, and our Love & Care Manager, who will underpin and support all operational and client requirements for the team. Generally, this role requires collaboration across the business in order to guarantee success.
Budget Management: Responsible for creating and monitoring annual, quarterly and monthly sales and GP margin budgets across the Charity sector by individual. Responsible for communicating and agreeing budgets across the team.
Reporting: Develop and update reporting tools that keep the team and management abreast of performance, including presentations within our fortnightly “Scrum” meetings. Prepare and present regular reports and updates to leadership.
Drive change on Industry Trends: Not only offering solutions both internally to Management and to clients in order that these are addressed, but playing a huge role in ensuring they are implemented. This person should be an influential member of the sector community.

SCAA is seeking to appoint an experienced, qualified, professional Finance Manager with strong analytical skills, capable of producing and presenting financial information in a succinct and straightforward manner. The preferred candidate will have experience of producing management accounts and other management information relating to organisational performance, cashflow, investment reporting and budget analysis.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The appointed individual will be expected to liaise effectively with colleagues, Executive Team Members, Trustees and other colleagues within the Charity. This is a growing charity, and you will have a broad remit, and we are looking for a fully Qualified Accountant holding a CA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent membership with experience ideally gained in charity accounting, external reporting and internal management accounting.

Discovery is a student-run, charity based at Swansea University. Each year, more than 400 student volunteers deliver community-based projects to enrich the lives of the community around them.
The role of the Volunteering Projects Manager
The Volunteering Projects Manager is responsible for the support, development and effectiveness of our projects. Providing a high level of support, coaching and development to our student volunteer project coordinators.
Salary – £30,124.49 (Please not this is NOT pro rata. Discovery is a 4 day week organisation, the salary specified above is for a 28 hr working week.)

About the NEL VCSE Collaborative
The North East London (NEL) Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Collaborative works closely with NHS North East London to work together strategically by shaping, improving and delivering services and contributes to the system design and organisational development of the ICB, ensuring Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) contribution.
The leadership group of the seven borough representatives meet monthly and is currently working to develop a VCFSE strategy to raise the profile of the sector and support the VCFSE to work in partnership with the health system to address local health inequalities. Person Specification
• Experience of working with the VCFSE sector at a strategic and senior management level, including championing and advocating on behalf of the VCFSE sector

The Information, Advice and Guidance worker is situated in the advocacy team to provide information on maintaining good mental health. The role will include triage provision in helping to assess needs e.g., reducing suicide risk and refer beneficiaries to appropriate and more importantly immediate support either at MhIST or externally. Typically, interventions will be short and usually, but not always, once off in nature.
Usually you will be working with people who have relatively low needs but you will be able to assist people with higher or complex needs to access services which are appropriate for them.

- Experience of setting content strategy and road mapping.
- Experience of consulting stakeholders and using insights to create written content to meet their needs
- Experience of delivering small high-quality projects on time and within budget.

This role is maternity cover for the Head of Fundraising.
The Fundraising and Business Development Manager is a really exciting position which will play a key role in driving growth and sustainability for FearFree by identifying and securing new funding opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our service delivery.
The successful candidate will work across the senior leadership team, service teams, the fundraising team and the marketing team to ensure that FearFree is well-placed to respond proactively and also reactively to business development opportunities.
The role can be hybrid, with attendance at our office in Exeter or Trowbridge. The candidate should be willing to visit the fundraising team several times in the other office during their tenure.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real meaningful impact on the lives of those impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Revenue Generation:

- Support the fundraising and service teams to identify, research, and secure funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, government grants, tenders, and corporate sponsors.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors and funding bodies to secure ongoing support.
- Identify and build relationships with major donors and philanthropists/ philanthropic bodies to secure support.
Strategic Partnerships:

- Work with the fundraising team to identify and establish strategic partnerships with corporate, public, and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local authorities, social enterprises, and private sector partners to develop initiatives that support FearFree’s mission.

Service Development:

The Role
As an Estates Manager, you will deliver an effective estate management function across the expansive and diverse Royal Parks Estate.
Your responsibilities will span the management of property-related matters, including non-residential assets and the negotiation of property contracts, ensuring that we maximise value from our property portfolio.
A central part of your role will be the negotiation and management of leases, occupation licences, rent and licence fee reviews, as well as ensuring compliance and monitoring of existing agreements.
You will also manage utility access across the estate, ensuring that we receive the best value while co-ordinating with Park Managers to minimise disruption during major events or ceremonies.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee the property management database together with other Estate Managers
- Lead on commercial property matters within the parks with the assistance of the wider team
- Provide financial support through budgeting and forecasting
- Contribute to the Estates business plan, licensing policies and risk management
- Oversee the regularisation of Longford River freebord usage
- Assist with projects
About You
To be considered as an Estates Manager, you will need:
- General practice asset and/or estate management experience
- Experience working for an estate of similar size and complexity to the Royal Parks
- Experience using property management databases
- The ability to read drawings/maps (notably plans, sections and elevations)
- Excellent report writing, mathematical and analytical skills
- A degree level education or equivalent through relevant training or experience
