Job Title: Support Time and Recovery Worker
Location: Based in Lewisham, across various homes, hospitals, wards, and supported living accommodations
Salary: £27,000
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

About the role
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting those who struggle with complex needs, substance use, and dual diagnosis. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to support residents and participants who struggle to engage with the support available to them through various providers. You will be at the heart of engaging our participants to regain motivation and the strength to step down from acute psychiatric wards and other supported living, by empowering them with the relevant skills and knowledge to support their journey. You will support them towards achieving their personal goals including independent living. You will be based across various homes, hospitals, wards, and supported living accommodations based around Lewisham.
You will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve more safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The areas of support will include: Prevention, Transition, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Support, and Social Inclusion.
This role will work alongside South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) who provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK. They also provide substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol with 4,600 staff serving a local population of 1.3 million people.
- Support a caseload of participants, contribute to the development of support plans, risk assessments and reviews.
- Positively promote the pathways available towards independent living within the community. Ensure participants understand what tools and resources are available to them to regain independence.
- Participate in, and encourage R&Ps to participate in the running and development of projects, initiatives, training and volunteering.
- Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent a crisis.

You will have an understanding and ability to help others overcome their personal barriers, and will be motivated to want to make a difference to people's lives. The Snowdrop Project is the first organisation in the UK to provide long-term, community based support to survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. We are recruiting for a South Asian female Immigration Adviser (OISC level 3) / qualified solicitor, to support women in our refuges that have an insecure immigration status.
About You:
You will be required to manage a complex caseload and will support securing the immigration status of service users in our refuges in the London Borough of Waltham Forest and the London Borough of Brent.
You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the legal field and in areas such as immigration law, family law, domestic violence and abuse, welfare benefits and housing, and providing legal advice and advocacy to South Asian/ BME women who have experienced domestic abuse.
You will have up-to-date working knowledge of Home Office policies relating to domestic abuse, including the Migration Victims of Domestic Abuse Concession (MVDAC).
Fluency in at least one South Asian language is essential (Urdu/ Punjabi preferred)

Specialist Support Workers help to enable vulnerable customers living at the scheme to manage their tenancies, mental/ physical health and wellbeing and assist them to move to social housing within the community. It is a step-down service with a short licence tenancy up to 28 days.
The shift pattern for this role consist of: early shift 9am to 5pm and late shift 12pm to 8pm. Weekends and bank holidays 9am to 5pm
The contract for this role is expected to end: 31st March 2026
What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Manager
* Conducting regular flat checks and medication spot checks.
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Create support plans / risk assessment plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Support customers to access local activities and services to maintain and improve health and well-being, avoid hospital admission, support to access and maximise welfare benefits

Job Purpose
To lead the management and continuous improvement of facilities, safety, maintenance and the provision of accommodation, prioritising contractual and statutory obligations alongside quality management reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- To ensure that relevant staff and volunteers are managed and supported sufficiently to fulfil their role and to operate in accordance with the requirements of legislation, funding arrangements and YMCA Doncaster’s policies, procedures and KPIs.
- To maintain accreditation and compliance records, oversee submissions for quality management and inspections and act as the responsible / senior person as required.

Role summary
As Senior Manager for Humberside Women’s Centres you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our centres and contract delivery in Humberside. Working closely with the Director of Services and supported by a senior key worker your focus will be on providing high quality, trauma-responsive support to women with experience of, or at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
You will lead on managing and delivering our contracts across Humberside to ensure our operational and strategic objectives are met. You will also focus on building excellent relationships with funders and key partners and identifying new partnership and advocacy opportunities.
Supported by a Senior Key Worker, your responsibilities will encompass the day-to-day management of our Women's Centres and contract delivery partners across various locations, including our Hull Women’s Centre, our Hubs in Goole, Beverley, and Bridlington, as well as partnerships in Grimsby and Scunthorpe.
Managing a team of Key Workers, you will be responsible for ensuring women and girls receive an exceptional service from within a safe, trauma-responsive, women-only spaces. Working alongside our statutory and non-statutory partners in Criminal Justice and Health and Social Care, you will ensure the continued strategic development of the Women’s Centre and represent Together Women at local and regional level.
Your responsibilities will also include identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities, and ensuring the continuity of existing services through effective contract management. You will need to visit clients in their homes or community locations which could be anywhere in Dorset.
About you
You will need a relevant background that includes experience of housing, homelessness and welfare benefits law and experience supporting people who are vulnerable and/or have multiple disadvantage. Through this you will have a good working knowledge of safeguarding frameworks. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including Microsoft Office applications is important too. If you have experience of using case managements systems this is an advantage, but not essential. The role will need you to visit clients in their homes so you will need a valid driving licence and be willing to use your vehicle for work purposes - for which an essential car user allowance will be paid.

The Street Engagement Team is a multi-disciplinary team that provides person-led support to people experiencing street homelessness and interconnecting needs.

Personal Specification:
Baca is looking for someone who can be a positive role model in establishing holistic and therapeutic services for young refugees. The successful applicant will be passionate about our work, able to lead by example, and build an empowering environment. They will work constructively with local authorities, develop key external relationships, and work well with the staff team. The role requires an enhanced DBS check and the ability to travel across the UK, including overnight stays.

- Ability to drive/travel to all locations where Baca's service is delivered.
