Job description
Are you ready to join the RBL’s Recovery Services Team to support the implementation of our exciting strategy that will deliver class leading Recovery Programmes to over 5,500 beneficiaries annually?

The RBL are committed to a significant expansion of Recovery Services, including an increase in the number and diversity of Recovery Programmes; delivery of Team UK to the Invictus Games; and the introduction of community follow-up programmes.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join the RBL Recovery Services Team, as Recovery Support Officers. These positions have been introduced to ensure our beneficiaries receive the best possible support.

As a Recovery Support Officer, you will work alongside expert coaches to deliver Recovery Programmes and activities which include adaptive sport, inclusive adventure activities, recovery through arts and the Invictus Games experience. You will be integral in maximising the recovery benefits of each programme and endorsing early intervention and sustained long term recovery.

This will be a highly rewarding role and you will be fully supported in gaining a full understanding of Recovery Service Programmes and the pathways that are available to beneficiaries, both internal to RBL and externally.

The role is based at the RBL’s Battle Back Centre, but you will also be supporting programmes which are delivered nationally and internationally. This may include extended periods away, weekends and providing out of hours support

Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

Here at RBL, we aim to support our people and their wellbeing, with a package including generous paid holiday allowance and pension scheme contributions, and a range of optional benefits and discounts.

For more detailed information about the role, please see our Vacancy Information Pack attached to our advert.

RBL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive organisation, reflecting the diversity of the armed forces community and of wider society. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and personal characteristics.

We may close this vacancy early if we believe we have enough strong applications to be able to successfully fill the role(s). Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
