We currently have a vacancy in our Adult Services Team to support the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team and work with our Adult Carer Team. This is a senior role that requires managerial experience, an understanding of the health and social care sector, safeguarding, empathy and the ability to work with different employed teams and volunteers.

· Ensure that the strategic development of the adult carer services are co-ordinated and services are delivered in line with funded contract requirements, CSC's development plan and local and national strategies and priorities.
· Be responsible for the support, supervision, management and development of the Carer Support Team, Health Team, Volunteer Development & Carers Time Team Managers and the Walk & Talk lead.
· Be the Adult Safeguarding lead, working in conjunction with the Children’s Safeguarding lead and deputies.
· Lead on the staff wellbeing programme and areas of work.

The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only UK charity providing information, advice and support to people affected by rare disease Aplastic Anaemia. Our vision is that everyone affected by Aplastic Anaemia in the UK should feel empowered and have access to the best possible treatment, care and support so they can lead full and healthy lives. We support our community through one of life’s toughest challenges – diagnosis with a rare bone marrow failure. We currently support around 2,400 people and have around 30 volunteers.

This role will be to support the perpetrator intervention across Wiltshire.
You will be primarily based in Wiltshire supporting the Domestic Abuse Serial Perpetrator (DASP) project, providing bespoke specialist support to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The post holder will work as part of the IOM team within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure that clients who show abusive behaviour are supported through every stage of the process of change. Evening appointments are necessary for this post in Salisbury and Chippenham.
In addition, you will support the delivery of the CPR (Choosing Positive Relationships) Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP), which is an intensive behaviour change programme, designed to increase knowledge and understanding around domestic abuse, the impact on children and healthy relationships. The course teaches tools and strategies to help someone change their behaviour. The CPR group will require weekly evening work in Wiltshire.
The post-holder will be expected to work to Respect standards.
Full training will be available for this role.
Client Based Duties
· Identify and assess the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
· Develop personalised risk assessments and safety plans for each service user.
· Advocate for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviour and show motivation for change with agencies who can help to address the domestic abuse by:
· Understanding the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to those who are abusive and how your role fits into them.
· Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to individuals, including in relation to drug and alcohol, housing, health and finance.
· Working directly with all key agency partners to address the impact of the abusive behaviour on the safety of high risk victims and ensuring that their safety plans are coordinated
· Support the client to recognise the abusive behaviour and the effect that it has on their families and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation and help them change unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
· Understand multi-agency partnership structures and work within a multi-agency setting which may include participation at the MAPPA/MARAC. You will contribute interventions and help design a plan to protect victims and any children, while maintaining an independent role on behalf of your client, keeping the victim and any children’s safety as central to any response.
· Ensure support provided is accessible to clients in terms of location and times
· Be proactive with your line manager in carrying out regular case reviews based on a review of risk and abuse which:
· Feeds back into action planning to further progress, signpost or close cases and;
· Provides feedback to your clients/agencies.
· Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.

To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the North region. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the North region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including some overnight stays.
This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed.

Support Coordinator
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Locality Impact team in Kent, in this home working role.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Stroke Recovery Service based in Medway.
Position: S11197 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based –Medway however, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week (flexible working available)
Salary: Circa £16,043 per annum (FTE circa £26,700 per annum)

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:
· Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
· Provide personalised information, advice and support.
· Support clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes
· Be accountable for volunteers, so experience of recruiting, training and managing volunteers would be an advantage.
· You will have excellent IT skills and demonstrate a flexible approach to your role.
About You
The post holder will have experience/background in:
· A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.
· Setting up and running groups.
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

Finance Manager
Hours - 30 hours per week

Main duties would include:

- manage the Finance team and work with the senior management team to ensure that we provide support for carers while operating according to Charities Commission guidelines
- review current finance support systems considering developments in IT making recommendations to the Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees
- ensure appropriate risk management techniques and financial controls are embedded throughout the charity at strategic and operational levels
- be responsible for the development and maintenance of procedures and systems to support the effective control and expenditure of financial resources
