Age UK's Finance Team are offering a 12 month fixed-term contract for a Senior Management Accountant - Charity. This role will support the Financial Planning & Analysis team in providing high quality financial planning, reporting and analysis to the Charity divisions within Age UK.

This includes not only delivering accurate numbers, but the development of reporting, reviewing performance, providing insight and commentary and support on budgeting and forecasting.

This great opportunity offers hybrid and flexible working between home and a central London co-working hub. We anticipate 1-2 days per week working in our London office.

Must haves:

• Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA (or equivalent experience)
• Experience of working to deadlines within a finance department
• Experience of double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
• Experience of completing financial analysis, including low complexity financial modelling
• Experience in providing a service to an internal customer, working in collaboration with others to reach common goals
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables & Formulae)
• High level of numeracy and accuracy, attention to detail
• Aptitude for picking up new IT systems
• Excellent time management skills, ability to manage own workload and to meet deadlines.

• Previous experience of working in a Charity and fund accounting is advantageous but not essential.

 About the role

We are seeking a versatile and experienced CAMHS nurse to work as part of our CAMHS Service to British Forces Cyprus. You will be responsible for providing a child and adolescence mental health service to individuals and families by providing a range of clinical interventions to children and young people across British Forces Cyprus (BFC) who are struggling with their mental health and require specialist support from mental health services.

You will work autonomously and carry a clinical caseload of service users requiring CAMHS intervention, utilising age-appropriate interventions in line with NICE Guidelines.

You will report to the Locality Team Leader and will be supported by the Clinical Advisor for CAMHS.

About the team

There are 3 SSAFA locality Community Health teams in Cyprus, each team is led by a Locality Team Leader; the teams consist of Midwives, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Community Children’s Nurses, CAMHS, Dietitian and Speech and Language Therapists. The Community Health Service is supported by a Child Consultant Psychiatrist and a Community Paediatrician who provide a peripatetic visiting service from the UK.

About you

To carry out this role successfully you will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, with relevant post qualification experience. Experience of work within a military environment would be an advantage. You will have a good working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, with the opportunity to facilitate safeguarding training and participate in Family and Children in Need Supervision.

Age UK are recruiting for a Retail Support Administrator with exceptional customer service skills to join their busy Retail Help Desk team based in Warrington. In this role you will offer specific administrative and operational support to a Divisional Sales Team and provide first line support through the Customer Services Helpline. Thus, playing your part in supporting the Retail Division in generating much needed income to help Age UK in its mission to improve the lives of older people.

This unique opportunity to be part of a Divisional Team consisting of Area Managers and covering a wide geographical base from your operating desk in Warrington will not only support the Division, but also the national charities 265 shops alongside your fellow Retail Support Administrators.

No two days will be the same, whether it be receiving inbound calls and emails or customer enquiries. A vital element of the role will be processing all stock donation calls that the Help Desk receives, and then contacting the relevant field staff for a final action plan. Your support in all aspects of customer and shop enquiries will be crucial to the Divisional Sales Manager to ensure the Division's administrative operations are run efficiently and cost effectively.

We are recruiting for a Senior Youth (Support) Worker to join our small, friendly team. The Dementia Support Line Team Leader is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Support Line which receives over 60000 calls per year and operates across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

The Dementia Support Line Team Leader manages a team of Dementia Advisers providing leadership and direction to ensure they provide a highly responsive service, giving appropriate advice and support to people affected by dementia. 

In this role you will coach and develop your team to deliver high quality person-centred support for everybody affected by dementia. You will be part of the team ensuring management cover across the operating hours of the service. Key responsibilities: 

- Responsible for the recruitment, development and performance management of Dementia Advisers working within the service. - Be able to manage your team to ensure the provision of a high quality service to people affected by dementia.
- Have experience of managing staff as well as strong IT skills and the ability to use management data to ensure KPIs and standards of service are met.
- Have experience of integrated telephony systems and service user databases.
- Have an understanding of the needs of people with dementia and their carers and direct experience of working in a lead role in a telephone and e-mail based service.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have the ability to coach, mentor and support staff, getting the best out of them.

About the role:

The RSAP (Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme) Lead Worker will provide support to individuals, who have a history of Rough Sleeping, following them being accepted into the RSAP ‘move-on’ programme. 

The Lead Worker will provide intensive, holistic, strengths-based, trauma-informed, flexible and responsive support to individuals accessing this service as well as work alongside external agencies to help ensure they are linked into the local community such as activities and groups which offer health, wellbeing and Education, Employment and Training (ETE) opportunities.

The Lead Worker will provide support to the Team Manager to manage referrals coming into this element of the service and lead on assessing the individual. Working within SHP’s policy and procedural framework, the worker will carry out a comprehensive assessment of needs and risks in agreed timescales.  On-going high quality support plans & risk assessments will then be drafted and reviewed on a regular basis. 

You will be working to upskill the client to manage their accommodation and feel ready to move on from the RSAP property into fully independent housing, within 2 years where possible.

About you:

You will possess the relevant knowledge and experience, including:

• A level of experience and understanding of provision of services to people within the areas of offending, mental health, homeless people with complex needs & a history of substance use; 

• A good and current understanding of safeguarding issues and procedures;

• Experience of effective liaison with social care, health, housing and criminal justice agencies;

• Experience of writing client records, completing monitoring materials and contributing to project evaluation;

• A significant level of experience, practise and understanding of the principles of risk and needs assessment, planning, goal setting, and reviewing;

• An understanding of the importance of professional integrity in relationships with clients, peers and other relevant professionals.

You will also bring the relevant skillset to the role which includes:

• The ability to find ways to develop relationships with people who find it difficult to engage, and to engage and work with clients who may have a low level of interaction with services and who may be sceptical about their value;

• Engaging with a wide range of professionals, some of whom may have very different approaches to problem solving through a multi-agency approach, and advocating to agencies on behalf of the service and its clients;

• Providing information and advice to clients about the options available to them, with the aim of empowering clients to make informed decisions;

• To be self-servicing in the use of the computer to create letters, minutes and key work notes and to send and receive emails;

• Familiarity with relevant housing, health and social justice legislation, policy and best practice relevant to systems change and people with multiple needs;

• A resilience and determination to overcome obstacles and find creative solutions.

Thousands of vulnerable children pass through UK railway stations every day. Most of us wouldn’t even spot that they were in danger. 

As Railway Children’s Community Engagement Worker (London), you will energise key stakeholders to come together to collectively keep vulnerable young people safe on the rail network. ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will involve working as part of a team providing 1st and 2nd line remote and on-site support to the services across London and a site in Berkshire. The ideal candidate for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer role will have at least 3-6 years of experience in Windows Server and Desktop focused IT support. The position will be responsible for resolving day-to-day IT issues, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting a range of software and equipment across our network. . You will have strong expertise and the ability to provide rapid solutions and working flexibly in resolving and further investigating possible escalations. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Managing and maintaining computer hardware and software issues from logging to resolution, to ensure high levels of availability of the supported business  applications.
2. Liaising internally and externally with technical support companies and suppliers and working alongside the IT Manager and Application Support team, the role of 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will involve the following tasks:
3. Using the Helpdesk ticket logging system to facilitate Desktop/Remote Support.
4. Liaising with Support Companies to get issues fixed.
5. Configuring, installing and supporting any client hardware and software.
6. Configuring, installing and supporting mobile devices and internal phone systems.
7. Assisting with new user desk setups, desk moves and associated cabling.
8. Processing new and leaver’s accounts.
9. Maintaining Asset register of all IT equipment.
10. Managing, assessing, and reporting on project activities to meet deadlines.
11. Focus on solving customer’s problems, striving to understand their needs.
12. Be aware of the key IT and cyber risks, proactively operating to minimise these risks within the remit of the role, acting quickly to notify of any potential or  identified IT risks through the appropriate incidents and escalations process
13. Maintaining end-user computing solutions including physical desktops, mobile devices (laptops, tablets, smart phones), printers, and end-device security including remote access technologies.
14. To be a car driver and have access to a car during office hours and willing to drive between locations.

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the People and Organisational Development (POD) team based in the charity’s head office. This is a varied role providing support in the day to day running of the Bristol Hub and performing an Executive Assistant function, delivering high quality and confidential support to the Executive Director (ED), with duties such as diary and email management, administration of the ED travel and expenses and other duties. 

You will be supporting the Bristol Hub Manager, taking the lead on administrative functions at the Bristol Hub, including the delivery of a friendly and efficient reception service, answering all queries from colleagues and visitors to the Hub, assisting in the support of all facilities management and liaising with contractors and suppliers.

About you
