About the role:
This role is home-based, but will require extensive travel across Wiltshire and Swindon to attend in-person meetings and work from various community hubs.
- Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime and retain and develop contracts for services by supporting and managing operational staff
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and management team, in order to achieve the implementation of work force plans and the development of the service to maximise positive outcomes for those that access the service
- Proactively promote the service, raise awareness of services & work with professionals collaboratively to improve the access to and quality of services
You will need:
An understanding of the Criminal justice system and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses
An understanding of legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments
A practical understanding of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practice and maintenance of records in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements
Experience of working in a challenging and changing environment with an emphasis on customer focus and excellence in service delivery
Demonstrable experience of providing crisis management, support and guidance in sometimes stressful and difficult situations to a team with a client service focus
Excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting professionally with a range of agencies and individuals.

The Role

This is a highly rewarding role for a Senior Team Leader to manage and coordinate the Outreach and Befriending service, which include volunteer face-to-face befriending support in the home and community, and peer phone/virtual support sessions. The outreach service will target families from the DWP two-year list and New Birth lists as well as managing supervision of complex family caseloads in partnership with Children’s Centres/Family HUBS, midwifery, health teams and mental health services. The postholder will also support and manage other projects as required by Westminster/ Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
We are looking for someone who has project management experience including monitoring progress against objectives, managing budget as well as experience of managing staff and volunteers. Excellent I.T skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver in tight timescales are essential.

Role: The role of Client Advisor is to deliver the support centre function for the programme. Forces Employment Charity delivers a specialist programme to support veterans in the Justice System who may be vulnerable, socially isolated, or need support to live or maintain a law-abiding life.
The role reports to the Support Centre Manager and Support Team Leader. This position is permanent Full-time, 35 hours per week, with a salary of £22,000. The successful candidate will be based at the Support Centre, Birmingham Office / Hybrid with 50% Office-50% WFH once the security clearance is received and training is complete.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Receive referrals of Veterans who are at risk of contact with the Justice System or are involved in the Justice System.
· Make first contact with referrals within 2 working days and complete initial registration.
· Upload client information to case management system.
· Provide initial advice and guidance on registration.
· Support allocated caseworker to engage with the veteran after initial assessment.
· Support Veterans to obtain proof of service and sign required consent forms.
· Provide accurate and responsive telephone, text, social media and email ‘helpdesk’ support to veterans and other stakeholders.
· Record all interactions with accurately on the Salesforce case management system.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Competencies:

The main duties of the role
To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.
- To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.

Our services delivers specialist supported accommodation where young people are supported to acquire the necessary skills in preparation for living independently, safely explore their increased freedom of choice and develop responsibilities associated with adulthood, whilst still having the appropriate level of support from an experienced team. The service aims to support residents into independent accommodation through life skills support. In delivering the role, you will report to the Supported Housing Manager and be responsible for:
Service Provision: Supporting the Supported Housing Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification including compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted regulations. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services team to complete estate inspections and health & safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Supported Housing Manager ensure effective monitoring of move on options are met.
Leadership and People Management: Directly line manage team members, ensuring their service delivery, working culture and personal development mirror best practice. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions, whilst ensuring they are supported within safe and consistent boundaries.
General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality. Reflect Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.
