The post holder will hold a strategic leadership role for Youth Practice within Family Action and will lead on the development of an inclusive youth model.

This is a national role, which will support the implementation and ongoing development of our existing and new youth services, across the organisation. We are looking for an individual with sound knowledge of the youth framework, a dynamic individual, with a creative approach, who can drive and lead change and effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels with key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

· Lead the development of youth services in the organisation.

• Ensure youth participation at Family Action is at the core of the service delivery, ensuring young people voices support and shape organisational planning.
• Contribute towards developing policies and procedures for the organisations youth services, ensuring they are translated into practice with support and training.
• Contribute towards implementing identified practice improvements to drive high quality and performance.

· Professional and relevant youth qualification (Youth Work Degree). JNC Professional Youth Work Status.

Recent projects have included speaking to black and Asian women about support as new parents, championing more co-ordinated mental health support for people who experience homelessness. We’re now focusing on support for families awaiting an Autism diagnosis for their child and how people who usually experience barriers to healthcare may be able to more quickly get the support they need. Joining our team this year will also mean you are involved in what we turn to next.

We are looking for a flexible and proactive colleague with skills and experience in three areas:

- community research and report writing

- signposting members of the public to support when they call us and designing and leading community workshops

- and supporting and co-ordinating volunteer involvement and contributions to this activity.

Ideally you will have knowledge, skills and experience that come from living in and/or working within minority communities.

As the Project Officer you will plan, organise and coordinate collecting and reporting people’s feedback on a variety of projects that often require collaboration across our organisation and with other organisations, managing more than one project at once and negotiating the next steps and deadlines. As a Governance Officer, you will provide high quality governance and operational support to the senior executive and Board and Committees as well as other stakeholders both across the Fund and externally.This opportunity is a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will join our core Governance team of five, reporting to the Head of Governance and working closely with another officer and two senior officers. A team player you will take pride in your work and the work of the Governance team. 

Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of governance in the public or voluntary/charity sector and be able to quickly familiarise themselves with the Fund’s complex governance framework. 

You will be expected to use your judgement and knowledge to provide prompt and high-quality support, advice and feedback. 

You will also be confident in identifying, implementing, and maintaining governance processes and best practice, suggesting changes where needed. 

You will be able to develop and maintain a complex schedule of Fund-wide corporate meetings and providing seamless support to the senior leadership of the Fund.

Responsibilities:

• You will work strategically, scheduling meetings throughout the year, and managing complex diaries to ensure availability and smooth coordination.
• You will attend various meetings, taking accurate and comprehensive minutes, and ensure that all key decisions and actions are documented and communicated promptly.
• You will collect, format, and organise meeting papers for distribution to meeting participants. 
• You will maintain the organisation’s Declaration of Interest Register.
• You will manage the team’s inbox, handling queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
• You will work closely with a wider team of Governance Officers, Executive Assistants, and other colleagues to ensure seamless support across the governance function.

Ideal skills and experience:

• Experience working in governance, or a governance-related position.

• Experienced and skilled in writing quality meeting minutes, promptly after meetings and effectively.

Individual Giving Fundraiser

We’re looking for someone whose communication and project skills will make a difference. Dougie Mac is not just seeking an Individual Giving Fundraiser – we are inviting a compassionate advocate to join our hospice mission.

 Lead on Individual Giving projects: Plan, deliver and manage effective initiatives such as our flagship Light Up A Life donation campaign, our Regular Giving programme and seasonal donation asks, maximising donations and donor retention.

Forge meaningful supporter relationships: Working closely with our Marketing Team, you will create compelling communications and materials to show local people the impact they can make by supporting Dougie Mac.

 Maximise Gift Aid opportunities: Lead our efforts on maximising and promoting our Gift Aid scheme.  Dougie Mac currently claims over £170k of Gift Aid every year!

 Provide an excellent donor experience: Help to serve supporters who visit or contact our Fundraising Hub to make fundraising enquiries or to pay in their donations. Showing compassion, gratitude and keeping them well informed.

Joining this team would take our headcount to 5. You will work a minimum of one day a week on our Fundraising Hub and will share an office with another Income Generation fundraiser for the remaining time.

Salary: £23,100k - £26k depending on experience/ qualifications with a clear progression plan and opportunities for study. Full time is 37.5 hours. Standard hours of work are 9am – 5pm across 6 days, Monday-Saturday. Saturday working will be on a 5 week rota basis working on our Fundraising Hub. Flexible working considered.

 Variety: No 2 days are ever the same, once 1 campaign is complete it’s onto the next and your time working on the Fundraising Hub will give an abundance of supporter interaction and variety.

The role of Project Administrator is a permanent position. We will consider applications for the role on a full or part-time basis, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to HES projects to ensure back-office functions are efficient and timely. You will work across our fuel poverty and retrofit projects supporting project managers and key staff to ensure administrative tasks are completed to a high standard. The role will be varied, and some tasks will change over time as we secure further funded projects that require administrative support.

Pay and conditions

• The role is full-time however part-time will be considered, (minimum of 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week).
• The salary for the role will be £27,121 - £29,803.
• You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To sort HES inbound post, ensuring items are passed to the correct team or staff member and coordinate HES outbound post requests, collating and printing information to send to households.
• To coordinate text messages to send to clients who would benefit from our advice services and speak to households by telephone and triage households to appropriate HES projects.
• To book home visits for advisors, keeping calendars up to date with appointments, cancellations and amendments. Accurately completing the home visits risk assessment when required.
• To coordinate events data and bookings across the team and supporting energy advisors with event preparation.
• To coordinate retrofit activity with funders and report back on outcomes and queries, managing 8+ retrofit staff diaries and keeping them up to date with appointments, cancellations and amendments.
• To record client details and follow HES team guidance documents to assess the help and support needed. Ensuring to update our client databases and other contact management systems accurately.
• Support the internal training programme, making sure evaluations are completed and booking inductions for new starters.

Data & Insight Analyst

You will work closely to help the Football Foundation demonstrate its impact to communities through our work. The Insight Team are looking for an experienced nalyst, confident in building SQL databases (including writing queries independently), using data visualisation tools. and with advanced Excel skills (including building Pivot Tables and importing data using Power Query) to help us achieve our goal of providing everyone with a place to play. We're looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Senior Youth Worker to join our amazing team at Peer Power Youth. You'll be responsible for leading, delivering and evaluating young people’s involvement in our creative ‘voice and influence’ projects, where you will co-create and work alongside young people in secure settings and the community. Our Strategy Enablement directorate brings together five core enabling support functions -  Finance, Tech & Data, Governance, Planning and Property and HR Delivery, where this particular role sits. About the Role

We are looking for a Grants Team Administrator to join our Grants Team. Purpose of Job

1 Main Areas of Responsibility 

• Support Grants Officers by carrying out an initial review of Achievement Award applications.
• Support Grants Officers in following up any applications missing relevant documents and to carry out due diligence checks.
• Assist Grants Team to identity organisations who may be eligible to join our scheme and assist with communication. Support Grants Officers to follow up any stalled, or lapsed, applications or grant reports.
• Support to Grants Officers in processing grant acceptance paperwork, including sending offer letters, actioning acceptances and scheduling payments.
• Support the Grants Team during busy periods by helping to manage calls and email enquiries from grantees, with potential to also help process and assess other small applications and grants.
• Support the Senior Grants Officer with basic application and report processing in their region, in order that they can provide team training and lead quality control.
• Organise and maintain the Grants Team online filing directory.
• Provide administrative support to the Grants Officer leading on our volunteering grants programme, Individual Grants for Volunteering. This will include checking applications for accuracy, eligibility and completeness and any other admin duties, as requested, to support the smooth progress of funding requests through the grant pipeline.

2 Administrative support to Head Of Grants

• Scheduling meetings, book rooms, coordinating agendas and managing minutes and actions for Grants Team meetings. Book and manage appointments for Coordinator training.
• On request, proofread external communications from the Head of Grants and the Grants Team to grantees or applicants prior to sending. Support with improving grants correspondence, amending published application guidance and updating the website and Community area with any approved changes.
• Liaise with the Operations Team to coordinate the accurate and timely production of spreadsheets of monthly grant recommendations for the Head of Grants and trustees
• Support the Head of Grants and Senior Grants Officer with grant integrity checks to ensure that grant records are up to date and the information accurate.
• Support the Head of Grants in running audit checks across our grants records, checking for documentation and gathering information from grantees, as requested by the Head of Grants.
• Support the Head of Grants in running monthly reports across our Salesforce database to capture information about numbers and types of organisations funded and beneficiary numbers.

3 Other Responsibilities

• To actively contribute to Grants and JPF Team meetings.
