Who we are

Based in Harehills Shantona, has worked with women and families from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds in disadvantaged areas of Leeds for the last 26 years.

Shantona Women’s and Family Services is a unique service that provides women, children, young people and families with an open and transparent support system.

Shantona  tackles domestic abuse as well as providing support around Mental health and wellbeing,  promotes healthy relationships, addresses young people’s issues and promotes community cohesion through a range of projects. Shantona inspires women, strengthens families and builds communities and challenges discrimination and inequalities wherever they occur
